I hope so, the banks should have a windfall tax aswell! They get cheap printed money at the expense of the taxpayer, make a killing off it and then when the BOE can’t sell the bonds they created to give the banks free money, the tax payer picks up the tab for that aswell.

Oil cos are my main play and seeing what money they have to invest and the risk they take to make profits at a fraction of the banks, to be then hammered by a 78% windfall tax is absolutely criminal.

But you cannot ignore the reason trump is acting like he is. Desperation for resources to prop up a collapsing dollar. It’s been this way before trump took office, it’s just it’s out of control and irreversible now.

There you have it, trump still taking Greenland, European relations in tatters and all leaders talking about moving away from U.S. dependence at the WEF, and Barcs rockets back up like nothing has happened!

The mad orange man openly slated all European country’s and presses ahead with drawing plans up to do a ‘deal’ with Greenland against the will of the people.

Not sure how long it will take to filter through to the markets, but trust for the U.S. is non existent even from their allies now. The fall has begun..

Can someone more intelligent than me tell me, does this look like I think it does? No uptake for long term US bonds? 10 years got sold, 20 and 30 years are struggling by the looks of it? Americas greed and bully tactics finally catching up to itself?

I see us being taken private in all honesty. Calgary and Harry etc with a 30p offer. Majority snap it up and they have a multi billion dollar£ company for free, as stated we have spent around £300m to get Darwin to this point so a 30p buy out is a no brainer for them.

They only need a public listing for access to capital, and I’m the last fundraise we didn’t even get to participate.

These guys have the contacts to take this forward without the markets help imo.

It has nothing to do with defending Greenland and everything to do with just taking resources. Same with Venezuela, half the country loved maduro but as ever when the U.S. want something it’s a ‘dictators’ and needs some ‘democracy’. Name one country the U.S. has actually helped and left in a better place than before it invaded…

Trump will do something, he has no choice, the dollar is collapsing and he needs to back it up with resources. He’s took Venezuela oil for energy and now he wants greenlands cobalt before China take Taiwan and control the AI market.

National US debt increasing by 10% a year now and completely out of control. Housing market is dead and they are trying to stimulate it with 50 year mortgages, labor market is dead because they are deporting all their workers, and the dollar is dead because of national debt being a runaway train and no one trusts the U.S. to hold US bonds anymore, so the yeilds will spike and the dollar will collapse. How long that will take I’m not sure.

The U.S. is also very fraudulent and can rig things to make everything look rosey when it’s not, as we saw in 2008.

Dark knight- do we think he’s trying to collapse the dollar on purpose? Great reset etc? $38.5 T debt and adding $1T every 3 months, it’s a runaway train and it can’t be fixed. He needs an excuse to get out of it.

One way or another the dollar is collapsing and trump needs resources to prop it up. It either collapses via debt and money printing, (currently adding $3-4T debt per year on $38T debt🥴) or collapses via economic stand offs like we could see very soon.

Brics nations are launching their own basket currency and are now longer touching US bonds, Europe won’t be touching US bonds after these threats if they have any brains. Dollar is done.
