Hi F.G. 6p - £1.20p... that's a good hedge bet. The MM's are not dragging this down, the last few sessions have seen low volume with more sells than buy's (probably by nervous investors due to next week's JR), hence the price has dropped.
If the JR outcome is against HARL then you might see 6 - 9p, however if the JR outcome is positive for HARL expect to see low 20's followed by a I.M. FID and credit terms agreed which could push this to low 30's. Let's not forget that we are in a Bear market therefore many investors have a high cash position and are watching the market for a turn in sentiment before investing, Roly.
Hi broomtree, I did hear through the grapevine ( Fine Claret ), that the person you might be referring to, was actually in the scouts..... or was it the cubs... not sure, but that may answer some questions.
Oh dear, there goes my £1 party invite.
Hi Xenor, Clearly there are some investors who are spooked by a negative outcome to the J.R. If the selling continues then I might become concerned. As I said before a positive outcome is critical to HARL as I believe a FID is on the table and the new finance deal is also somewhat connected to the outcome, not long to wait now.
Xenor, Totally agree with you, farm out and let another bear the costs while keeping a healthy stake 25/33 %.
Si D, Love your comment @ 12.24.
stokey 11.41 post, clearly HARL need a positive JR outcome, in my mind it is critical, the project is worth £60 M + to HARL, I think the delay in the new/proposed credit line is due to the JR outcome, if positive I believe will hear a FID quite soon after, as I am sure that is sorted subject to the JR, followed by new credit terms.
Why did I use 25% ?, going back to October 2021 when notice to issue the ML was announced, the SP rose from 18p to 25p, so I am using a similar figure as then, clearly this is all my own opinion. Good weekend All, Roly.
Clearly I do not know what plan B is, however cannot see how the project can go forward without a Marine Licence, let us hope that sense prevails followed by a FID, if negative given current market sentiment I would expect a SP hit of 25% but same upward if positive.
Concerning the J.R. I know this is old but in the article J.W. commented " That he had four investors for the I.M. project keen to get involved." Any ideas here who they are ??.
Great to have a J.R. decision date, however if negative would fear that the SP will be decimated, lets hope that it goes the 70% way. Roly.
Lottie, Yes and before your next election !!, who were the other two in the final phase ?. On another point when I used to crew yachts, I remember sailing from Plymouth to Kinsale via a few days in the Scilly Isles, really nice place, always said I must go back, would be great to do it on a shiny new ferry built by H & W Appledore.
Thanks Lottie/Stokey for your replies, the fact that BMT are involved is good news for HARL, the current SI ferries were built in Appledore but by Bab, however the geographic location of Appledore must also be positive.
Question, There has been a lot of talk about this contract here, by reading the threads one would think that HARL have this in the bag !! Can anyone advise me which or how many ship builders tendered for the contract ? Also I read an article posted here that the consultant company also included a overseas builder, can anyone confirm this, thanks, Roly.
Hi Noel, Well done , you were correct with your 50/50 call here, and you will be glad to know that I am down the price of a small new car, having said that, if I was to take investment advice from every ramper, deramper on LSE I would be well and truly skint, luckily for me that is not the case. Now let's see if you are going to continue in your vain of just insults or surprise surprise can you be civil ?.
Interesting.
Hi LSE03, Interesting to note on their timeline, that if everything goes to plan without hold ups construction due to start 2029. I am still waiting for Scotwind contracts to be announced which Harl said they were in dialogue with 75% of the companies involved, surely overdue contract news, any thoughts on this ? Roly.
True. Is this just a bit of bottom fishing we are seeing, or is something brewing ?, Another 200 % + and I am level.
Davey50, I have been saying here for a while, after I lost faith with the board, that a sale of the company would be the only way that shareholders would ever see a return, after all the BOD have had £7M and many years to turn this around.
You only have to look at DARK figures today to see the growth in the sector, those are the figures I expected here.
The Sea Truck mentioned operates on the Heysham - Warrenpoint route, there are lots of lobster pots at the entrance and in the narrows of Carlingford Lough, probably one of those and the propeller rope cutters did not work. Only a diver job.
' bought more '
Looks like Dowgate but more, just not Amati's holding.
