Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
It's good to watch... The bot sells a few at the bid and then more buys above.
Personally Ill have a few more at less than here...but then I'm not dreading a phone call, lol.
I was upping by 1/2, but then then it ran up a little so I paused after only upping by 1/5. Then down again so added another 1/12th at 110. So still need another 2/13ths and have an order set. Then will sell at 3 1/2. GLA!!
Fair enough. I read it as a one liner bash.
I always thought that you didn't believe in this consultancy holy grail stuff, so I thought you'd be pleased to have a construction fella there, even if only interim..
I think we will get the quid. At some point it will move quickly.
GL anyway
Ah c'mon Slave, I mean based on what you've previously posted I didn't think she was your cup of Chai anyway?
I'm beginning to think you're just a basher....
That must the first buy rec for a good while?
Personally, I am OK with the FD going. He looked hapless at the previous investor presentation re the river cruise accounts re jig. SO fresh blood hopefully fired up with a point to prove? Works for me.
I did say my view is that they would rejig AICL. If I was them I'd hire a guy who thinks he can make it worth keeping. After all if someone actually going to buy it they think there is money there. So selling is short termism imho. We shall see.
All these vote me ups...
Just prove that there aren't as many people reading this board as there was in the run to 440. And that in itself is a serious brake on the price. Let's hope a few old faces return and re invest here.
I'm ok mate thanks. But i'm an investor not a trader. My av is low enough here.
We'll both be happy. I'll just be quieter. xx
Buglet, do you perchance know this song?
"You put a third of your stake in , you take a third of your stake out, you do the Saga cokey and you short it all about... you do the Saga cokey and you change your mind, that's what you're all about!
Sing it all! Whoa the Saga Cokey, etc etc fade to close.
GLA tomorrow.
Well right on cue today I received my annual renewal doc for my house and contents from NFU. Up 50% from last year. I have no real options as its a bit niche. My car insurance was similar in August even using a comparison site.
Not saying SAGA is worse or better but I suspect people are going to get their heads around much higher premiums until the blast of inflation effects is worked through.
No misquote.
In the rise to 151.4 from 132.8 there were 5 days rising and 2 days falling. The rises were of Saturn 5 launch trajectory! Perhaps I missed your post highlighting the daily climb then?
In the drop back to today there have been 8 falls and 2 rises.
Not patronising-I genuinely thought that you couldn't read a graph based on your post?
You once told me that you could post what you like on this board and that is true enough, I didn't argue at the time. But if you post selectively or post incorrect statements then either me or someone else is likely to correct you. Just for the sake of clarity you understand.

"A). It falls every day B). The speed of decline is accelerating"
Allow me to assist. When you look at the share price graph available on many platforms, you will see a wiggly line. This is plotted daily. When tomorrows number is higher than todays number the graph goes up, and vice versa. Both of your statements above therefore seem clearly wrong looking at the graph but I suppose I could get a protractor on it to make sure...
The price today is about halfway on the year trading range. Little news to go on and concerns from previous but as LTI noted update next week. No institutions seem to have run for the door but should you fancy it, I think you'll find its always open between 0800 and 1630. ....its funny that 150 to 120 is a collapse in your eyes. What did you call it when it went up last from 120 to 150? I have a few proper collapses in my portfolio which if replicated here would leave us at about 22p. I hold them still so I don't forget. We shall see next week will we not. Sit it out if you truly feel like you say-this isn't a share that's going to open 30% up even with the best news.
I went back up to my previous holding during the drop into the teens. Well I posted my view re the sale a few days back. I think where we are is assuming it aint going anywhere. SO if that is the case then Euan should go instead but he wont huh.
But I think the other numbers could be good.
Who knows. Ive paid my money. Inshallah.
Of course Billzo.
Patient as ever.
Where have all the good times gone? Quite appropriate. I prefer the Van Halen version but there you are...
Good trend indeed. Where will it top though and indeed why is it getting going now?
That's why I read this board, it's the insight.....
So job done then. Farewell and F and Bs.....They could have simplified the RNS by just saying " What Oasis said"...
New members and traders incoming, gonna be a good day hopefully. GLA
Indeed and it continues so far this morning....
Am I the only one thinking that the sale of AICL will be dropped as quietly as possible and re packaged as a re worked business unit with an exciting future....
Let's hope both cruise businesses are indeed stellar...
I assume that the annual total will cost 3.3m to avoid giving more to the pension scheme...
SLowly slowly....but a decent divi does much to shove the price along. Hopefully next year he will have to release some more one way or another
Oh slave cmon...gone now...
According to the RNS, we remain as ORM?
Should be interesting anyway-does anyone have a view on the direction of travel on re-opening?

The details of their remuneration are in the Annual report and accounts. Usual spread of various targets.
The good news for us is that as of fairly recently there is now a mechanism that also involves the share price, so they finally have an incentive to raise it. They still win all round even if it sticks but better than it was.

To be fair Kate Rock and AV have bought a few last year-KR when she arrived.
But only the freebie-take from the FD. Bad form that I think.
