The other thing to consider when talking insurance is that they tend have cycles when they all move pricing up or all move down. There is always competion, but the cycles remain according to my tame insurance broker. Now that may be good for us because thse who are taking hits on Covid business cover have got to get that back from somewhere, even though say their motor department has saved. We havent had the same hit I wouldnt have thought, but wait and see I guess.
My tame insurance broker has Covid at the monent but when he resumes normal service I will ask him how the cycles work.

FWIW i think there a few things.
1. UK vaccine vulnerable. More vaccines positive, EU fun negative. By end of April death rate/hospitalisation drastically reduced (from what we know today).
2. SO then UK internal will be free hopefully and a round Britain Cruise.
3. EU to open for cruise destinations.. Depends on their vaccine rates. They're behind us. SO for me no Le Mans in June. Hopefully Spa end of August. I'd rate that maybe 50% chance.
4. Between now and then its when the market decides to bolt. Clearly a lot think currently they can sell and sit out use for something else for a bit.. And whoever it was that said his City mate who said EPS of whatever down the chip shop, well he ain't gonna want retail having all the fun is he? So games to be played.

So me not leveraged not bothered. Understand others may have other pressures.
But am quite happy to sit tight and worry about other shares atm.

I think its market as a whole.
Spooked more by vaccine supply issues and EU stating they will try and restrict where it gets sent-ie EU first.
Vaccine delivery to point of use is the missing piece of the jigsaw now that we have actually manage to jab enough/day.
I think until Pfizer and AZ can commit to larger (or their original promises) rate of delivery we are treading water.

Look, this is what I mean. I'm no basher as you know, but I was the company cynic at one point in my past. So what I am driving at is that if you go back a couple of years M/Cap was about 3.4 x today, when the business was making only about 2.7%. So to me I'd rather see a plan with some numbers to get back to that first rather than vague statements re an aspiration of 7%. CEOs are fond of making statements for headlines and then kick the detail down to the troops without actually having a plan to achieve.
And as per below, I am intrigued to see what kind of turnover this enhanced margin work needs to be at, to be delivering those sorts of margins overall. My guess is hundreds of millions, and as you are really talking staff people cost, that's a huge business-just look at some sample consultants turnovers?
