RE: Seriously?31 Jul 2024 19:36
Despite your one post, giving you the benefit of doubt that you are in fact a shareholder, I think you might agree that if they had bought all the land for the full field development before they had permission to do it, you would not have been happy? I certainly wouldn't.
If you had attended the last two AGMs you will have understood the situation and have understood why they could not release the location of the Ch1 because it was sensitive information for many reasons. One being you don't tell a property owner you intend to make a bid against before you are ready to do so. Over there it is also quite possible that people could have parked something on the land claiming usage rights and therefore extorted more money.
Now, the situation is as explained last week, for a foreign investment buyer a price is agreed, exchanges take place and the buyer can move onto the land with immediate effect to start work without hold up.
Some of the land will be village land administered locally and some will be registered as general land administered by a different body.
Any Village land purchased will be re-registered as general land and within the following months a 33, 66 or 99 year lease WILL be granted according to the invested levels. It's been said they have enough gas currently for 40 years so at least a 66 year lease seems assured maybe even 99 because of the potential for more down the line.
I have every confidence that Ara will be purchasing the land on a priority basis to fit with their schedule. So seriously? Yes seriously
