Provided the criteria for the application is met. The companies WILL BE GRANTED A LICENCE to develop!

Hands up all those people willing to invest millions without some sort of security that you will be given a licence to develop if you find what you're looking for?

To even contemplate the idea there are no assurances within an exploration licence, is to show the level of thinking that goes on here.

The company have spent 9 months preparing the application, they know the criteria it needed to achieve, it costs a small fortune to do the various surveys and the application is in. If it wasn't feasible, the application would not even be accepted, so on that basis alone it must be.

People need to ignore those questioning whether they will get the licence. They will, even if alterations in the development program are required by the government.

I still see CH1 being drilled before production begins and TPDC say that will be by April.

The only question is, are there three types of licence application, or are they all one, but subsequently treated differently on the size and scale of the project? I really don't know to be honest.

My main point really is not to get pinning hopes on a particular date because every time we do that the nasties come along and make hay with it. I have absolutely no doubt that the license will be given because it will be in the exploration contract that providing the terms and conditions are met the licence will be granted. Knowing that, we can just sit back and relax and it will come when it comes. Long-term investors don't need to worry, it is the traders that harp on dates.

Let's not start pinning hopes on a time scale because to do so is setting up for a fall. This ML is to cover 20 to 30 wells so will likely be over a wide area. From the information provided I will be assuming a special licence so will expect it to take longer than 90 days.

It doesn't change a thing for me however long it takes, it is still a strong buy.

While there is no guarantee, I tend to agree December is a favoured month of the company in the past and getting in before the March rains would be good.

On the negative side the gas from CH1 wont be required until later in the year.

On the positive side, although one of the NT wells does not require a rig the other needs a workover which does and we have already been informed that it will be done by utilising the rig used for CH1.

I put the chances of a December/January CH1 spud at 80% ish with the other work completed beforehand.
