"In 2017 the drilling was done and we found gas, so far we have 1.6 trillion feet that have been discovered and verified, and this year to next we are drilling a well and we already have two wells and we are going to drill the third," Mr. Makame said.
He explained that TPDC is building a pipeline to transport gas and a small gas plant to be liquid and take it to areas that are not reached by pipelines and then to other areas. In addition, the agency will provide 750 million shillings to build a health center as part of the project's profits.
