Funny you should post that. I have just been reading through the Bluestar ASX announcements and it seems the $1.5m was paid straight away while Helium One would be funding the six drills following. I would assume from its wording the each drill will paid paid for as they are done.

It seems they have the go ahead licence for the first five and well six just needs the application which takes no more than a couple of days

What I hadn't picked up on before was that the earlier drill 16 as upgraded the other day is in fact included in the farm out. Others may already be aware but that is one extra drill bonus for me :-)

I was looking to find whether all six drills will be back to back and I found nothing to suggest they were not so.

While searching this was important from RNS 10th May 24 referring to TPDC works "It has completed all front-end engineering" All we need now is the Madimba pipeline to be laid and as the plant is ready to be connected.

I am confident we will see that begin during this dry season starting April/May

Grampyan. I suggest you go to Google Earth. The last update was last year and that is where the image came from. If you take a look around you can see where the roads works were at that time. More recent satellite images have shown that the road works are now further north. The image you are seeing is simply backing up what was stated in the last RNS where if you care to read as Crusty points out "AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED"

It is not a negative to say this because clearly they have everything in place ready to go when the rig is sorted. These pipes are long lead items and can't be picked up off the shelf. They also say the well head is ready to be shipped so we can assume that will land in the not to distant future

As you say I think we should have had more but regarding the gas, it is true that gas would have been there anyway but we were basing our valuation at the time, on amounts we didn't know about.

It is what it is and there is not much we can do now. The main thing is we are still here and are setting up to profit for many more years than we originally thought.

It's been a long time coming but I'm sure it will be worth the wait we have had.

While I do agree a little bit, I still think "we was done" is arguable because I'm not sure we would still be here if we didn't have that farm out. It would have been almost 10 years without income and no support. I thought then that it was the best thing we could have done and I think that has been proven. We could not have done this alone. But back to the point that we have much more gas than we ever did and it has more than made up for the value that we thought we had back then 😀

And as Bullfrog states "25% of a potential 16Tcf up to 280 mmscf/d"

16TCF is many multiples of what they had when the farm out was agreed so the value to Aminex despite the farm out is far, far greater than it ever was.

How many £Billions would that 16TCF be worth anybody? That is going to be profitable income for many, many years to come.

Basher, your double post to a blog this morning is from the 15th of February prior to the the successful drilling at Jackson 31 where they appear to have encountered free flowing gas which was unexpected. Along with the size of the find being bigger than predicted, subject the percentages coming back from the lab, I would think that the income if the other drills produce similar, could be far higher than that article predicts

Yes whistler it does progress further drilling but the income will also help the companies ongoing running costs.

Although we are talking two separate Fields, they are still one business.
