From where I sit
1. The Scir deal still needs to be ratified and announced by RNS
2. There is no doubt it will happen, because they have taken the shilling and signed a binding agreement.
3. Delay as ever during this whole project is down to red tape and quite possibly financial timing.

Though my view us deal done and think it perhaps maybe priced in, I would still think there would be an uplift because not everyone sees it the same. Always good to see those signatures.

As for the pipeline of news. I suggested on reading the last RNS that there was no likelihood of another until the test results are known. Imo in the statement, it inferred the data would be ready by mid March which will enable ARA to decide the location. It didn't say that decision will be made by then, also the two week test is to begin end of March.

Again Imo, until the decision is made and the BOD are informed, they can tell us nothing that they haven't already. Best guess scenario would be a location decision passed on at what we have assumed to be an end of month meeting, so for that news earliest April 3rd with test results the following month.

That's not saying nothing will come earlier as there is lots of other news to come, but it would be consistent with recent reporting dates.

Why should they come out smelling of roses? They should take the hit with us. It was they that claimed it was a dead cert, what was it 95% COS?. Remove those shares and I would support wholeheartedly

Like money that comes with muck, oil generally comes within the vicinity of gas. The issue is finding it.

I understand there is a large geological rift to the west of Ruvuma, so what effect that would have on migration of fluids is an unknown atm. As Crusty said on Friday, although there was big excitement over the oil in mud shows, the expectations were toned down in that a lot of valuable condensate could be found and sold at the well head. That may have been an attempt to cool expectations or not to say too much publicly for political negotiation reasons, but that is just my speculation.

For now the company will continue its path to bring gas into production and any oil or indication of it will be a bonus hint at where it may be. With first gas in October, after waiting so long, at this stage we have to be happy to have this light and the end of the long dark tunnel.
We are moving toward Bull territory now as the news should start to flow over the coming weeks and months

RoJo I have no friends on here, but I have suggested nothing that cannot be backed up by RNS or Tanzania governments publication of the news and presentation. In fact that is all I'm interested in, that and discussing the pros and cons with people who have a bit more knowledge than those who consistently shout that it will go down tomorrow without having any backing for their argument other than a toss of the coin 50/50 chance of being right.

As for the border raider, I have pulled his reigns back on more than one occasion and I don't do it by ad hominem attacks on the man.

If I get a little excited when we get good news it is because I hold millions of shares here and I hold them for a good reason.

We will have to wait and see Aimster, herd arriving is all about timing against what else is happening, but there is a program of around six drills and they've already indicated the NT1 will be re drilled straight afterwards using the same rig as for CH-1 . Tip Top was certainly a big pusher on here, but like many others I suspected he was trading too.

Crusty, the scent of oil is nice but from what I've seen, you have never been a believer in that. I don't recall any expectation to find oil at that time, though I admit the oil shows caused excitement. As they are moving further up-dip this time, I suppose it is quite possible to see signs of it again. Yet again we just have to wait and see. I still expect way in excess of 2p though once Ch1 and NT1&2 are online. Enjoy the weekend.

I would hope we are higher than that Aimster and though CH1 will likely cause a spike, if it goes ahead this year as expected, and proves up what has been suggested (8tf), then I would think it would remain considerably higher. Remember, it almost touched 8p on the thought of around 260bcf. Aex may only have 25% now as opposed to 75%, but the free carry and huge upgrade of resources if/when proven, should more than offset that.
As for Dividends, I think they are for the future. I can't see them coming next year when they are only due to start getting receipts at the end of this calendar year. Maybe in 2025 if all goes well?

Right now PF the traders are playing it, but there a steady news flow should come before October and the lows will increase step at a time. If not getting in now, I suggest you keep a close eye on it. Who knows, rig news could come alongside the location decision. Timing is unpredictable.

I'm sure CP is a good snog mate, but I don't go that way.
