Retired long ago bigh. Will be able to help others though if this comes good. That's why I do all of this. I'm mostly pretty hapless at it but every now and again I am just lucky. Nothing more, nothing less. I now know AIM is a total casino and the ruination of many amateur investors. If I'm honest I don't think it should really be allowed but the pros make far too much money out of it for the authorities to want to get involved. Far too many life style companies and outright conmen masquerading as Company Directors with no other aim than to relieve you of your hard earned cash and sustain their inflated salaries. I wish to high heaven the rules were tighter for BODs and companies on AIM but doubt it will ever happen.
When a good result comes along enjoy it and don't be too greedy, as I was with EUA and a few other other disaster stocks!
With GDR, just for once, I think I got it right, but even here has been a rough ride at times with Budd burying his head in the sand and not communicating with share holders for months and months on end, leaving some less experienced investors like myself frantic with worry that everything could go t.ts up. Even if this went for £2 I would never sign up to the david Budd fan club. At least if I do end up walking away from this in decent profit it won't be whilst holding up a low number of digits in the air directed towards Budd and Gilham :)
