Yeah would be great to finally see one of their projects actually come to something rather than always just talk of more drilling plans etc. MFC was imo a waste of time and money and is still way, way too far off showing it’s worth outsiders coming in for a jv but you never know. SW definitely hinted at outside interest but that’s just par for the course for these exploration companies to throw out statements like that but without them ever needing to prove there’s any truth in them.

The IPOs have all pretty much done nothing for POW, despite all the hype, and recent bits of drilling news such as today’s is repeatedly falling on deaf ears in the investment market. The likes of POW are either going to have to announce JV partners or come up with really amazing results from drilling campaigns in order to persuade sentiment to perform an about turn.

If there was another delay they’d just announce it straight away. So I feel a decision has been made and we’ll hear of it imminently. Hope it’s the right side of the coin for all the longs

It really does look as if GDR will get some funding from DEVOTE and that will change the complexion yet again on how the immediate and mid term future looks with regard to their bank balance. All going in the right direction but taking far longer than any of us expected or wanted. Patience required but I do think this is due another approach towards 25 - 30p if funding news lands in the next week or so

Bought three small lots of shares in EUZ this morning. None of them have shown up at all on the LSE website. Odd

I think a regular poster here (can’t remember who I’m afraid but thought it was someone held in fairly high regard) said he managed to have a conversation with someone from GDR over the phone and they said an update was expected around then but that there would only be an announcement if it were good news ie one of the two short cut routes become available eg DeNovo. Much cheaper and quicker to get AIHL to market. Could be great news but my feeling is that as the NICE RECOMMENDATION couldn’t be a full one GDR will just have to join the query along with everyone else which will take at least a year and…cost something in the region of £2m.

Other than the first of the £300k monthly drawdowns I think DEVOTE funding is the most likely thing we’ll hear about next. No idea when it’s due though as I’d thought the decisions were being made at the end of April.

An audit of accounts is only necessary when a company’s annual turnover is £1m I think. As GDR is a publicly owned company (do pay attention DB there’s a good chap) perhaps it has to present fully audited accounts every year anyway? Dunno.

At the moment the ratio of outgoings to income is about 48:1 so paying for audited accounts might be an unnecessary expense…especially when that money could instead contribute to the boss’s £25k every month.

We’ve very recently been at .8 so it’s a worry to see such a large and delayed sell. I’m guessing someone just panicking over Mali’s involvement with the Wagner group. Proves the corruption levels and people ‘in charge’ there are prone to dodgy dealings in the extreme.

That's a bit odd though Flava. You say mms hold it down for a 2.5million buy and then it drops further once it's gone through. There has been weird price movement here for days if you believe the trade figures on this LSE website each day.

Shenanigans for sure and yet this isn't AIM. Very odd. Truth is no one has a clue what's going on or what the mms are up to.

He means if Hainan decide to back out due to eg Mali becoming too politically unstable then KODAL will keep the $7m that was paid upfront.

Personally think that's highly unlikely as they will have done DD and spent a lot of time and money coming to the decision to partner with Kodal. China is the one country that get away with rapping Russia on the knuckles should any Russian interests get in the way of them getting what they want in the ground.
