Vp: I’m invested and want to see it do well. What I disagree strongly with is the stupid ramping suggesting the sp will be 20p by end of the week. It’s potentially huge and the CEO seems very capable and knowledgeable in terms of how to commercialise product, but no one can deny there are headwinds for the vaping industry. Even he doesn’t but he always couches the challenges with a positive slant.

With regulation and govt priority still being to get people off cigarettes and nicotine I think there’s a strong chance of beating a path to vaping being an established and acceptable pastime but the three bug bears must be dealt with. Disposables, being sold to under 18s and ensuring there’s no nicotine or other health damaging substances involved. Sort those out and it’s a mega industry and one that helps reduce NHS bill for looking after smokers.

Vp your problem is you are convinced you’re rarely wrong, but always right, and that your assumptions regarding people you’ve never met based on a handful of posts on an anonymous bb must be right. It’s good to see some humility creeping into your narrative. Admission of fallibility (ie confusion) is a sign of intelligence. So, there’s a first time for everything. Well done.

If vaping is banned it’ll push many adults back towards smoking cigarettes and also give rise to black market uncontrolled and far more dangerous vaping products. Better to be pro active and ban the ones with nicotine and control sales better only to people over 18yrs.

Media are ignoring what Chris Whitty himself said about all of this, and ASH, who exists to try and get people off nicotine and cigarettes. They are in support of responsible vapes.

I would love to know who the potential partner was that was going to come on board earlier this year, and what made them change their mind.

Danahar in the US are quietly and steadily creeping up on GDR as a competitor but they have masses of money to pour into their R&D programmes. I wish they’d just save themselves the bother and buy out GDR for $100m now!

I think the DEVOTE might be more than some think. GDR is an R and D company, not a commercial entity, yet. Thus the majority of its spend is on research and development and that’s exactly what this funding is for.

I’ll go out on a limb and say they’re going to get £1.2m per year.

On sale in just 3 days? Will Callum Tweet or perhaps even put out another non regulatory RNS to inform the market if sales go mad? Would be so great. Might hold on to a decent rise then!

What happened? Been out for the day and had half decent houses for a steady rise . Every stock at the moment seems to struggle to hold on to any decent rise, even when it’s had good news. Stock market is in the doldrums atm.

Hope this picks up again tomorrow where it left off this morning.

More likely it was a large buy order placed in the morning that was filled during the day and that’s what caused the big rise but it was finalised perhaps at 16:24 and then reported an hour later? That would make more sense .

At over £130k it’s one of the largest trades I’ve ever seen on GDR so it would have caused far more than a very short lived rise this morning of less than half a pence and followed by a very swift drop on lower volume. Gotta work these things out for yourself with is irritating.

I’d actually be more worried if it was a genuine trade all in one go at that time and had such little impact on the sp so think my hypothesis makes more sense if it was indeed a buy.

You can’t believe that surely? Since that huge trade we’ve not been above that price. Either the time stamp is inaccurate and was much earlier in the day - would explain the rise all the way up to 23p - or it was a sell as the sp hasn’t got close to recovering since despite far more bus than Sells today.

Well, only £20k sold today and £80k bought. Think that puts to bed the fact that huge trade late on Friday was a sell. It was at 20.84p. Let’s face it if was a buy the sp would have to be well above 21p now with todays trades as they stand. It’s heading in the wrong direction. Again! Exasperating this share . At least we heard from the CEO (not director though) on Friday. Admittedly with the begging bowl out yet again as GDR lurch from one month to the next desperately looking to beg, borrow or steal money to keep afloat.

Fairly obvs to me last weeks rise was manipulated to see the price for that first drawdown at a level RF were happy with. When you get into bed with the likes of RF you have to expect shenanigans of this kind. Their only focus will be on making money from GDR now and they don’t give a 5hit if it results in the company being damaged or ultimately even if it goes under or is taken private. They could of course have designs on the company themselves. They could esp afford to buy it at the moment for £30m..? If that’s their long term goal though then they’ll drive it much lower before they show their hand. I just hope someone else sees the potential and jumps in before then. If we had an offer of £50m now I’d bite their arm off. Sod the long term. I’ve no confidence in Budd and Gilham being able to keep things on the road over the next two years, never mind 5 or 10!

At least if GDR was bought out the excellent products would make their way into hospitals far sooner. With Budd in charge it could take years and there will eventually and undoubtedly be competitors, possibly already in existence, ready to leapfrog the currently snail-paced GDR offerings.

This guy Callum is smart. Speaks well. Eloquent but clearly extremely well informed and crystal clear in his short, mid and long term vision of where he wants to take CHILL Brands with its vaping products.

If it’s true that he’s interested in expanding the company then I would dearly like to see him take over EISB, a small independent luxury mixer drinks company from NZ run by a complete clown currently but…great products. Callum has the know-how to put EISB products where they need to be and I suspect cd get that company well funded and make it a huge success in a relatively short space of time… along with the vaping products being sold all over the US, UK and the rest of the world.

Seriously impressed by the way this guy speaks. After so many AIM CEO buffoons and conmen I’ve heard over the past few years it’s so refreshing to hear a short presentation like this from someone who clearly knows exactly what he’s doing and to know his successes will reward share holders. If only there were more CEOs like this chap.

Been mulling on these huge delayed trades that only show up after hours. Actually, when you think about it, whether they are buys or sells it’s good news for GDR . Why? Obviously if someone is trying to build a large stake and using excessively large trades to do it then it’s because they think relatively short term the price could do really well. If it’s someone trying to manipulate the price down eg RF ( if they don’t go over 1% I don’t believe they have to declare any trades and regardless of that they cd easily have an external broker so it on their behalf without anyone knowing) then they’re having to use increasingly large trades to move the price in the direction they want because there is growing genuine interest in the stock. Sentiment is slowly but surely returning as seen this week and that makes it more difficult to manipulate the price and more difficult to conceal such efforts. Perhaps a pharma is already eyeing GDR up and trying to at least start to build a stake and manoeuvre the sp so that it doesn’t go on another huge run as they would simply have to offer many millions more to convince existing share holders to vote on a buy out.

Basically what I’m saying is I don’t believe it’s anyone shorting GDR as that’s just far too risky. I don’t know if that was a buy or a sell but either way it’s good news as it’s raising awareness and interest in GDR and highlighting the short term possibilities.

Of course there is Budd to contend with but at times even he can’t do anything to stop the share price surging. Who knows maybe he’s working with a potential buyer and trying to keep a lid on everything…Just conjecture you understand but I personally don’t trust him to be doing everything he can for the benefit of ordinary share holders.

The timing of the first drawdown just as the sp was starting to come alive after two months of being depressed is highly questionable imv.

Next week going to be fascinating again as we head towards June 9th.

Trouble is that huge trade is delayed so there’s just no way of knowing whether it’s a buy or a sell, just like yesterday. The price indicates nothing. It could have been linked to the £77k trade yesterday and cd easily be RF having pushed the price up this week (£200k or there abouts is under the TR1 level) then sold once the first drawdown was out of the way and. at a higher price.

It’s all designed to allow big players conceal their true moves from the market and is of course totally unjust but it’s the system that our FCA deems to be fair.

Just a wild guess but if there’s no news of DEVOTE funding for the next few weeks the price will drift again back to the 16 - 17p level and then over a few days rise back up to 22 or 23p and bingo, news of the next drawdown.

Just a guess in the dark, which is exactly where the mms and big players want pis to be.

We can always rely on Budd. Little bit of sentiment returning and hee comes along to burst the balloon. This isn’t what we wanted to hear.

We’re not being told what it’s being used for which isn’ta good look. If we had plenty of cash for another 6 months at least and we’re about to get some funding from DEVOTE why on Earth do this drawdown now? I expect it’s because there has been a small ram lot in the sp so GDr were encouraged by RF to get on with it as they obviously do far better out of all the warrants etc the higher the set price. Think this might be the pattern for the next few months then imo. Every time there is a half decent rise we’ll get one of these. It doesn’t inspire confidence that any income is landing in the GDR bank account any time soon then so I’m afraid I’m thinking Starres was right about sales being years away, otherwise they could have at least waited until they know about FDA in July. It simply must mean there isn’t Nearly as much cash around as we’d thought and RF are possibly calling the shots and worse still could now be trying to control the sp. I don’t know. Just have no clue what Budd and Gilham are up to but thus far they’re doing a 50/50 job. Great at R &D and rubbish at commercialisation

They know a negative decision will damage GST very badly in terms of its share holder support and are waiting until after 4:30pm today to announce a rejection.
