May have dodged a bullit with sage,not looking too bad at the mo,usual gold trade to keep me interested,went long at one of perceived lay lines which gold just spikes through intraday but do look to have a bit of structure on the closed daily chart,read up on cey,sounds like toss of coin,will it wont it go through.?then there could be other appeals to delay?is that about right?,my brain couldn't cope with the waiting game.that turnover that I was worried about at the mo looks like it may have settled a bit,it's just as though people new the euro figures weren't going to be that good,hopefully absorbed now.

post whilst on my night shift,lol looked up the cey chart,scared me to death,I just couldn't do anything with it,best to leave that to you knowledgable guys on that type of share,bit concerned with my longs, look they may be turning over,possible negative reversal candles,but you never know, hopefully just a breather.may have dropped a clanger just before close, long sage,when I used to. Trade shares I always read up ,ex divi,brokers etc,well now I'm back on them forgot to do so and yep ex divi,it had broken out then came back for a retest so went in as I said just before close,but the breakout was for the wrong reason doh,still looks good on the chart though,so will have to see the damage in the morning,lesson learned,again.

Jealous ,I'm starting 12 h nights today.im going to have to look into some of the shares mentioned here,just tend to do big blue chips with large volume at the moment.

yep lincs on the southern mouth of humber estuary,handicaps as honest as my trades 9,f30 looked at the barc board thought you handled it very well,buying before close is one of the things i do if theres a reversal candle at a strong trend line, obvious close stop just the other side and in my experiance more likely to get a gapped opening in your favour than against,i only generally short this set up if ftse looks like it may have a dip and many other company candles are looking the same.

great trade on barc f30,my gold short was well in profit but ended up stopped at break even whilst i was golfing and didnt set a 50% target,my longs on av and lloy opened last monday seem to have got a kick from barc especially lloy and going great,golf was great 8 of us two teams of 4 best 2 scores to count,we won and very pleased with my driving after not playing for 2 months,by the way its cleethorpes.

Don't very often do breakout trades,but gold broke down through one of my perceived lay lines so am short from 1649 and back to tight stops.

Eventually stopped out gold,should have been more patient like you f30,I've actually got on my note s for gold , only trade extremes,should have read it first,gave up all I made on Friday so going back to my tight stop policy,my brain can cope with regular small loss stops but not big ones.

you must live in a very different part of the country to me,our course has been closed waterlogged for weeks, very cold and snowy,still in the gold short but well down at the mo,its the only thing i use a bit of a wide stop on because of the volotility,plus im trusting my trendlines and pivots,but there not a given.i see a lot of you do well with the aim shares,they scare me too much,got caught with a big open gap down once and stop outs when price never got anywhere near them so now stick to blue chips with lots of volume,suppose i may have to dip my feet again.

Wow,that was bonkers took my 50% a t pivot. 1682,if you read this before you set off,I did very well with my modest ltrade so your larger position should make for an enjoyable trip.we will soon have some of the others into it lol

hi tried to catch the falling gold knife,in at 1666,that was 30 mins ago and touch wood still holding,i have actually for me got a very wide stop as i see what could be strong support at 1650.loving shares again now im spread betting with tiny commissions,forex is great fun but never really made any money,the lloy long still open and added to the billiton short 50% profit the rest stopped out with trailing stop and av. long 50% profit accidently taken when trying to set limit order for it at higher price ,thats with ig index,i can do it ok on cmc markets,called them but the chap said you cant close part of your trade,i said thats funny cos ive just done it,anybody know?f430 posted before i think but that tactic of yours i coppied selling 50% at a set take profit is working both financially and mentally for me.http://www.screencast.com/t/NscGmI4Nqq .this is the av chart with the remaining half the size,that top blue line goes back for ages with lots of touches so bought when it touched it and close stop was at a pivot not too far belowe.talking of golf our course in cleethorpes closed waterlogged so had an hour at the range.

Hi all Impressed with the golds f30, I'm doing ok but getting stopped out when going to break even,even though it was the correct thing to do because I would have lost out without very wide stops,just have to do more chart watching.ive been throwing money away on commissions with CFd account,opened first spread betting account yesterday ,wow how much cheaper is that.also the two trades I open ended on shares rather than forex etc are doing well,shorted billition early on then long LLOy just before close,just gambled the dive yesterday was more from jitters rather than anything major the likes of which have caused the major drops in the past.

funny enought just got back from few holes and pint of cider,daughter and grandkids just arrived for the weekend from out of town so feeling good,posted the other day gold often has a mind of its own,i studied the fundementals about what affects it,and it just isnt so most of the time,as i had read very TA driven,its the only thing i spot for regular little plays,FX indices etc i go in heavier but not very often,only when it looks to good to miss.

lol,thats why i only play with tight stops,good news for f30 though.

1633 take profit spike, bit optomistic but you never know,bit of breathing space from my entry for now,well for 5 more mins anyway.
