morning all im golfing in Ireland and visiting daughter first 2 weeks in july,can usually get time off ok shortish notice so long as my co worker isn't already off.

Hi all,open mind on golf venue,do like really scenic courses rather than testy ones,have enough of that with my own course.

If you say had 100 pound per point on char at 20 p,then if it went down 10 p then of course that would be your 1k, spread betting costs are incredibly cheap compared to normal dealing,what i did was a few small position on large caps till i got the gist,bbq beckons 12h next two days but im sure the other lads will help untill im able,cheers

Profit seeker,ig are pretty good and popular,quick transactions,i like cmc for cfd indices but dont quite trust them spread betting,just my opinion though.stops,you pay a premium like an insurance for a guaranteed stop,quite dear unless your concerned,if it gaps open past your stop without the guaranteed ones you get what it opens at more or less,in play though i find ig very good for your stop price,

afternoon all well done with ftse long farmer,ive been having daily goes at timing longs on the dow,too many successful ones to be luck now,just need to get more experience at getting more out of them.

also lucky enough to pick up a good long on dow earlier today with the very complicated strategy of buying the dip,i did post that trade at the time on barc board.

broke novice,in my opinion gold is like a box of frogs,it doesn't stick to any agenda for long,ive read so much on the subject,what its suppose to be an hedge against etc,still a box of frogs,f430 with his short term juggling appears to me to have a fair go at it.

evening well what a bonkers couple of days,just like it was a couple of years ago when it was every day.

Morning all Have a look at the 4h and daily chart,it looks like classic inverted cup and handle.

morning all my visitors are visiting this morning so golf beckons,forecast is for a nice morning here,well compared to what we are used to.got a few bitty trades running,nothing major,waiting for the dow to settle,just consolidating then up again at the mo.

farmer,closed 75% of cey trade for 5% left the rest for our gap fill.

couldn't help it it back in vlo,had missed a gap fill so using that level

vlo gone,well 66% success rate now,took it for the wrong reasons anyway,i thought the dow was capitulating late on yesterday before its late jump so had a go at a share,cant believe how much better the spread is on cey than earlier,will have to watch out for that.

yep can see it clearly on the 1h,waiting for us to open took a short on vlo just before close,got 100% success rate with that,lol well two trades, one long one short,hoping for 3 out of 3.

cheers for that farmer,as for the aim thing,because ive only traded indices and blue chips for last couple of years cey appears in a different grouping mentaly for me,dont forget I got some for my sip few weeks ago at 38 so I know there quite some substance there.if it keeps ploughing up today I may just take 50% at 39.9,i will see if I can spot that level you mentioned mid 40s

re cey,spread much better now must be good volume and quite nicely up,im going for 39.9 if it gets there or closing at end of day,aims scare me to death overnight.you got a target for today?

morning all got into cey this morning just a play,nothing else to do ,dow just flat lining at the mo,anyway not trading cey again,over 2% down on open because of spread,im now about 1% up,but after the spreads im used to never again,will check in future.
