Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Will Baz at last buy Mrs. Baz that Scottish gold ring he promised on this board?
There is a time for everything, including a farewell. It is increasingly hard to read this screen, as my 26 year rearguard medication and surgical actions have slowed, but not changed the inevitable loss of sight from glaucoma. It has been an informative and humorous pleasure to have had the acquaintance of those still here and some who have left this board. I thank you all.
I have for 11 years repeatedly traded my wee pot in and out of several natural resource shares, but made the personal decision to run down this year and SGZ was the most successful and last to go this Autumn. Fortune and a bit of research enabled small to good profits against only a few small losses (you can't win them all!) and it has been FUN! My gains have been spent on my wife, grown-up children and our home. Money is only a means to an end and then you can't take it with you!
In Scotgold, I have found a most interesting and very geo-prospective project for which I researched historical, reports, presentations, scientific papers, a couple of doctoral theses and mine visits. Some of this potential has and is highlighted on a well-known Twitter page!
I'll continue to follow the company's fortunes that I am sure will reward those stalwarts and those with a longevity greater than mine. Like most mining projects, it has been a roller-coaster of 2 steps forward and one back, but 10 years of SP mostly between 25 and 75p (or eq) is likely (IMO) re-rated to 50 to 100p now that we are in production and more with further progress and intention in the New Year.
So finally, a Very Happy New Year to all past and present posters on this board, including one who it seems could do with happy!

Indeed Morar. You and I once met, but some who come here could do with a dose of:

Did it not all start with Lazarus? A model adopted by those not shy to back their cause, faith or agenda. What are , who are you or me or anyone here?

Happy New Year to all, R.
I posted a couple of years ago that Sg should have provided the new Crom Allt bridge with a troll trap. LSE could do with one too.........and one for the pop-up ads!
A Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all here and good fortune to Scotgold.
Regards, R.
Looks like we have a dog in search of bones
At least this tweet is a lot better than last year's Christmas card:

and a bit more uplifting than than:

Merry Christmas to all here, R.
Maybe we'll get a Christmas card on Twitter, but hopefully not deja vu!
The program also looked at the many historic , present and future uses of gold, including the recent advent of 3D printing with it! Jewelry by CADCAM?
The guy at the defunct Welsh mine also mentioned 'a Scottish mine about to start up.' Another PR opportunity missed?
Catch up probably on 'My5' unless they are soon repeating it. Worth a view.

Maybe a rise on the new video showing processing happening?

Indeed Baz. Perhaps after your holiday, you might be inspired to 'go green.'

'Last year I was on the cusp of buying more into here.'
Gosh! That's some admission after promises in previous years that you would not buy more and average down! Had you then a flash of hope back then? Now back to Mr. Grumble and calling for a hero to save the day!

As TB suggests, we know very little, so maybe your hero already landed at the beginning of April?
Happy St. Andrews day tomorrow to all, R.
A time to sing, a time to dance,
Buy in, sell out, a time to prance.
Company fumble, SP tumble,
So many a time for some to grumble.
Yet for most time gone, we have trundled on,
Twixt 25 and 75 or equivalent song.
Expectation and speculation the only exceptions,
But markets, loans and equity change perceptions.
We endure, so all is still to play for,
New houses, new plans and all is to pray for.
Cheer and be merry, for friends hear and gone,
For we have the time, before final gong.
GLA, R.
Thank you, young man. Keep your ear to the heather and your glass full.
Regards, R.
Last but one line should be 'phase 1'
Baz, for Scotgold tomorrow ALWAYS comes.............just will it be sunshine or rain and when do enough sunny days make a summer or rainy ones a winter? There is no rainbow and multi-baggers are for gamblers or crooks. Onwards and at times, upwards.

A conference of 'quitters' is convened! Yet we hover in hope in the wings of this BB.
Eck, I must correct you on your 'exception for wise retired geologists.' Anyone seriously examining my posting record might reasonably conclude that I am that 'senile delinquent' I warned of on this board on my 70th birthday!
I first bought/received shares in utilities and corporation privatization at the time when Lord Stockton warned parliament that 'When you have sold all the family silver, only the pewter is left' and later when building societies were scrambling to convert to banks. I learned then that the only certainty is death and that life (and shares!) are to be lived and enjoyed for the day/month/year. Hence in the last 11 years I have not put all my (pigeon!) eggs in one basket and traded on my DYOR. This has given me small/modest profits, thankfully only a few small losses and it has been a bit of fun, but mostly a pleasure of sharing the company of those of common interest on this and a few other boards. A thank you to all for that.
Yayay, how nice to hear that you are back from 'Mars' and keeping an eye on us. Your inspirational 'tales of the canal bank' have enthralled us and are greatly missed.
Market sentiment changes over time and the wind is not in our favour. The loss of SG monthly updates hint at uncertainty and the posting of transparent achievement, setbacks and action is replaced by forecasts and bated breath that do not impress, despite having progressed further than ever before. The prospect of a wet and covid winter, guided by directional dyslexia as mimicked by Ant and Dec, gives little cheer for Christmas. Yet if PD can keep Cononish grinding on to achieve and maintain phase 2 production into Spring, then in the new year may be a good time to return. One step back, two forward?
Regards to all here, R.
Baz, if next year is 'the biggie', does Mrs. Baz get her ring at last?

The same bank with many other financial scandals and was financial advisor on fund-raising to Sirius Minerals plc.
Bellers and I both know where that went...............to Anglo American for a song at a time when JPG had a significant stake in AAL.

Hi LTP.
I wish you happiness in your work in mental health. I have three grand-children in the same profession. With my diminishing eyesight and sharing your varicose veins, health is indeed most precious.
We all need things to look forward to and the onward progress of Scotgold can surely be one of them, as it has always been a promising project deserving of success. I have benefited from trading the share and have nothing to grumble about except the time it has taken and which I and some others here may be running short of!
