Ta for the links. I saw the gold-rich galena refining on the 2017 mine and BPT visit and the 'normal' table strand on my first visit in 2016. For the latter, I think this is a better picture:

Hopefully in an RNS not far in the future, we might hear of a concentrate grade in the range of 200 to 300 g/t Au, but production of dore gold when plant optimization (as per last RNS) is complete.

As some are into recalling past posts, here's mine of 4th September:

"Another interesting item is the high level of silver recovered. It is likely (as I have previously posted) that they are mining in an area of high galena content ore with a low Au/Ag ratio in much of the electrum. As it is in an area of rich overall mineralization, that does not matter, but it may result in a wide galena strand on the table and a narrow, less easily separated, free gold strand as appeared to be the case at the BPT in 2017. Hence in the last month it might have been more beneficial to send the entire output to concentrate and hence it's very high (333g/t Au (eq)?) grade. Alternatively, have they been putting by gold-rich, galena concentrate to re-process, as was also done at the BPT in 2017? Also, following the completion of the debottlenecking process, expected in September, gravity circuit optimization will occur, supporting gold doré production which commands a premium price." Next month may see a focus on dore gold not seen recently."

Perhaps I was getting too far ahead, but de-bottle-necking said to be in progress and still over 300g/t Au in concentrate in last RNS. To achieve stable and continuous processing has been the priority and it seems that perhaps no pure gold has been separated due to difficulty and/or worth doing. If gravity circuit optimization is the next target this month, then that may soon change. Watch out for new positives soon perhaps?

It will be interesting to see the spread of news in next few days if security of information and risk are more an issue than honesty and transparency, but then all here have differing expectations.

One of my great grandsons (18 months old) had just arrived and knowing where great grandma keeps the sweets, pointed to the cupboard and asserted, "Goo-goos!" A little knowledge can be dangerous perhaps!
We 'children' must in future perhaps, learn not to expect, but appreciate treats and surprises! Scotgold, it's my birthday at the end of this month..........HINT! Or as TB points out, there's always Christmas!

Agree Clarets. The monthly updates set a standard we have not previously seen. One can only speculate that solid progress is thought to be not for AIM. Nnews such as what the geos keep telling PD and Scottish gold production are perhaps thought to be future news drivers for the value of the BoD's new shares. Or am i being cynical? Tut, tut!

Ta for link TB. As you say, t's all good progress, though lack of Scottish gold production until 'fine tuning' is achieved is disappointing. Perhaps in this coming month or so, but then no more monthly updates that have accompanied the SP rise since May. Back to nail-biting, speculation and leaks?

I rather expected this. Why have your money back when you have the confidence to hold off and likely double your money? At least the discount wasn't too cheeky and the market seems to think the vote of confidence outweighs the dilution. Now PD has a elbow room to move beyond Phase 1 production and the cash income should enable SG to commit to moving the Grampian Project forward. It's been a long time (29-01-2021) since the last exploration update. Time we heard what our geos have been up to and got planned for the next mine. Roll on Friday or next Monday!

Who will start Scotland's 2nd gold mine? Eris, Western Gold or Scotgold? My money is on Scotgold. Continued progress at Cononish will make a serious drilling program for next year more likely. Roll on the next end of month report and the next Grampian Project update! Would like the chance to see this again:

I hope it all comes good, but boulder samples are likely ice-age, area erratics and only 0.3 to 4.4g/t in drilling vein (11-06-21 RNS) so far. SG has historically had exploration grab/chip samples over 300g/t Au and has drilled over and are mining ~20g/t in stope. Eris has much to prove in a long journey ahead. SG is set to arrive.

'Still, could be worth a punt.......!' I thought that until the shares were split with ZNWD and Eris gold delisted. Didn't want to get locked into a private company, so took a decent profit and out. In retrospect, probably not the best move ..as it has turned out. Could have made twice as much from ZNWD alone. Ah well, there's always my wee punt in ALBA........LoL!
