Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Why 94p? £1 would be a better prezzie!
Looks like one of Scotgold's neighbour may have some promising drilling results.

But Scotgold years ahead and looks much more prospective.
Making conclusions on the limited figures that PD has given may be misleading. Only concentrate was delivered, we don't know if it is all from this month's mining or in part from that stockpiled the previous month (when processing was interrupted), has any gold-rich concentrate been retained for re-processing (as was done at the BPT in 2017), was any free gold separated that has not yet been delivered? PD has (wisely?) come up with hard figures achieved, but detail is lacking and so conclusions on plant performance are guestimates. PD has said that when consistent plant performance is achieved, then optimization can proceed. After that we may get some reliable indication of process performance.
Whatever, it can only get better AISI.
Regards all, R.
BP, I don't reckon we can rely on more than the expected 11-12g/t Au over the life of the mine, but at times like this it will be rather better. 30g/t is brilliant and an occasional bonus, but SG's prospecting in the past has turned up chip samples over 300g/t, so who knows? ATB, R.
Autumn, thanks for the link to an evocative article. Worth the read.
Kenny, ta for link to our latest geologist to join the SG geo-team. Are women taking over the world? You have your 70p SP now and the news just keeps getting better.
The sun was shining on my visit to Scarborough today. GLA, R.
Another nearby neighbour might want to borrow a wheelbarrow too.

'The Company estimates that this drilling programme will be completed in the next eight weeks with assay results due in the third quarter of 2021.'
Scotgold years ahead!

Afternoon all.
Interesting that ERIS are repeating the FT article on Scotgold on they're twitter page. Hoping to rub off some interest?
https://twitter.com/ErrisResources
Baz, "Mining is never that good. In theory it's possible. I hope they get there."
PD is hopeful, aiming at 75t, then 100t/m concentrate. The latter will need 4000t/m mining. He speaks of reviewing plans as mentioned in the RNS, but talks of expanding or just de-bottle-necking and where to go next. Perhaps he has identified ways of improving on phase 1 to ~48ktpa. That might be enough, save on expense of phase 2 upgrade, extend mine life to ~15+ years, 20+ with extensions and give option of going straight to exploration drilling for mine 2. Whatever his thinking, he clearly is keen to push on and make changes.
GLA, R.
We'll all wish that! "management are now assessing an upward adjustment to the mine and production plan reported in Q2 2021." Fingers crossed!
Another interesting item is the high level of silver recovered. It is likely (as I have previously posted) that they are mining in an area of high galena content ore with a low Au/Ag ratio in much of the electrum. As it is in an area of rich overall mineralization, that does not matter, but it may result in a wide galena strand on the table and a narrow, less easily separated, free gold strand as appeared to be the case at the BPT in 2017. Hence in the last month it might have been more beneficial to send the entire output to concentrate and hence it's very high (333g/t Au (eq)?) grade. Alternatively, have they been putting by gold-rich, galena concentrate to re-process, as was also done at the BPT in 2017? Also, "Following the completion of the debottlenecking process, expected in September, gravity circuit optimization will occur, supporting gold doré production which commands a premium price." Next month may see a focus on dore gold not seen recently. The foregoing is circumstantial speculation on my part, but we shall see.
Onwards and upwards, R.
The RNS may be a little more revealing than at first glance.
PD's invite to the Pro-active Investor presenter to calculate how much money has been made, has surprisingly not been taken up on this board. So here goes:
450oz Au @ £1318.40 = £593,280.
1900oz Ag @ £17.82 = £ 33,858
Total = £627,138, say £625k.
The 2100t of ore processed is said to be 70% of plant design, so at 100% (3000t/m), it could be over £895k. Yet the target is now uplifted to 4000t/m. At this level, income could be~£1.2M and higher with contribution from the Scottish gold premium. We don't know the operating cost just now and the last estimate in the 30/03/21 SG presentation may or may not be realized, but the ability to make in excess of £0.6M/m operating profit is clear. More 'jam tomorrow?'
Have a good weekend all, R.
"We're getting there." commented my surgeon yesterday as he worked on yet another procedure on my poor old right eye. As i concentrated upon looking down, his words reminded me of Scotgold, knowing that the monthly RNS that I had yet to see would be under discussion here.
Some over the years have thought of this share as a pot of gold in the distance:

Maybe it's my perception of geological time, 24 years of holding off declining eyesight or 12 years of watching Scotgold, but life is not like that. As each 'rainbow' comes within reach, a new horizon becomes apparent. Eck's Tuesday list of solid reported facts have been added to with 50t of concentrate, over 2kt of ore mined, higher production, processing and concentrate grades. However, more 'horizons' are apparent as Scottish Gold, Achieving Phase 1 production, repaying the Directors' loan, funds for Phase 2, exploration for Cononish 2, repaying NLR's loans and building the second mine. Only then might dividends be forthcoming and until then the benefits can only be reaped in buying on lows and selling on highs with hopefully an overall ascending progression. That's as I have treated this and my other shares. All that AISI, though by now anyone reading this might think that:

Ah well, another roll of the dice.
GLA, R.
Lovely day here with w2w sunshine, but cloud any drizzle forecast for tomorrow.
That's the only news from me, so all here have a nice holiday weekend, R.
Kenny, what have you to say about Scotgold or will that have to wait until next Wednesday?
Prentice, Eris will float when they need funds and Parys Mountain has been floating ever since they turned off the pumps when I went there around 2010 after a visit in 2003 to see the historic openwork and derelict exploration shaft and pilot plant. I doubt I have another 30 years, but maybe for you:

ERIS have just got more ground to explore courtesy of Green Ore Gold:
https://twitter.com/ErrisResources
It's been a long time since we had any news of the Grampian Project:
https://www.scotgoldresources.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Exploration-and-Production-Update-29.01.21-WEBSITE-PDF-VERSION.pdf
It would be good to hear what the geos have been up to.
GLA, R.
Hi Baz.
Re paying attention. Ta for correction of my oily slip. Then snap!
RNS of 2nd August:
'Shipments: second gold concentrate shipment made.'
Let's hope our patience doesn't exceed our coffin dodging!
Regards, R.
Four years ago SG was sending gold to jewelers and I got a Scottish gold ring for the missus.
Baz, your missus won't get hers, as Shell's SP will never make a fiver!
We could do with news of Scottish gold dore bars! Then Kenny's 70p SP will get blown away!
GLA, R.
Hi HH.
I hope you are shown to be as right about UFO as I hope the same for ALBA.
"SGZ is far less exciting.....," but has a lot more potential going for it, such as phase 2 production level, what the geo's say that "excites" our CEO, likely extensions for Cononish and many potential prospect targets of the Grampian Project. Scotgold has (IMO) always been a great prospect, but like all mining projects, getting to fruition is the challenge, but we are nearly there and as you say, the market will recognize this soon.
A good week end to all, R.
ERIS made me chuckle too.

Polishing marbles before polishing dore bars?
Regards, R.
Hi Yayay.
Have you departed from Mars?
Regards, R.
Is everyone on holiday? Only me and me one and a half eyes here!
Today, ~6.5k shares bought, ~2k shares sold and a 3 share sell at 14.15 hours prompts a 0.5p drop! Silly season or did the Uxbridge clown get up to speak in the Westminster parliament just then? The magic AIM roundabout!
Regards to anyone, R.
Yayay, n a sunny day, one must look on the sunny side. Especially myself not discerning things too well in the shade these days. That will not get better, but hopefully prevent further decline.
Luck and timing are often all. My SGZ exit last Autumn was spot on, but being lured by the St. Andrew's Day 'drip,' 120p soon did not look clever by the New Year! Deja vu, averaged down the deficit half way and now content to wait until (soon I hope!) back in the black. Hence, getting out your dustpan and brush here, may not be housework to be delayed.
My wee punt in ALBA is rather like yours in UFO. Lots going on, but jam sometime soon. Despite reducing the Clogau gold prospect to a pin-cushion that a shy, lock-keeper's daughter would appreciate, the best gold grades seem to be in a 15kt historical waste heap! So there may be hope for your far-flung, brownfield prospects on Mars!
Good to have you back Yayay at a time of little news, but much waiting for month ends.
Kind regards, R.
