Ivybush: Can you explain more about algo trading in this Co please. I cant see where the shares are coming from to sell as they must have been bought at some time, or does algo trading not involve having any shares the same as margin trading ? Whatever this algo trading is doing, it is doing it well to bring the price down to these levels....Is this the same as shorting ?

Hi Gavster, agree with what you are saying & will have to wait for trading update before any real movement seen. The trading range is very small and wonder who is selling at these prices as most will be at a loss. That`s whats baffling me....Is there a fund accumulating this share on the cheap ?

Not in this one anymore but strongly agree with others that a placing has to be on the cards so will wait for that to happen. Shame that it will be at a very low price so high dilution is expected. Placing around 2p would be expected at this stage.

Gold up ~PAF Down. Think i`m going to bail out as i no longer understand how share prices work. Totally baffled by this share...

Correction Papucal: SWISS RE still have a 6.63 % holding according to the Company website after disposal. Realy needs an RNS to clarify what fund/funds have bought the shares and if RE intend to sell anymore. Cant see why given the dividend or is there a predator lurking for a takeover ?

My resoning is based on the post by CORNISH1960 in that any remaining shares to be sold by SWISS RE is equivalant to 4.4% and that these remaining shares are been bought by other institutions by agreement at a low price. I didn`t state that there are no more shares to be off-loaded by SWISS RE, mearly the fact that there are buyers waiting to snap them up and that should clear the way for the S.P. to start rising very soon. SWISS RE holdings are now below 10% for whatever reason they chose, but there are many funds which will scream out for a 7% return on investment. I would anticipate some RNS releases soon regarding other funds accumulation. I am very confident that this is near the bottom and also topped up Today. Great prices to get in IMO.

This should be near the bottom as sold shares from SWISS RE are being bought by other funds at a very good price. Expect to see S.P. rise over next few weeks back to £ 7.00 range where they should be. The dividend was wiped out by the drop for LTH but great for new investors.

Another important factor is that gold is moving to tier 1 from tier 3. This is a very important move in that it is ranked along with currencies, namely the $. What reason would they do that for ?. I believe that it is re-intoducing the gold standard albiet under disguise. Gold will be able to find its own level given time adjustment. Hopefully the crypto bubble will eventually collapse as Governments would want this unregulated currency to which should make gold more of a stable investment. This is only my opinion but believe that gold will double in price within 5 Years as fiat becomes more de-valued.

Seems to be a continuous bloodbath with nothing but interest rates & tapering bringing everything down. Noticed that FRES & POLY have risen as expected, but am also in CEY as well which hasn`t moved anywhere even though it is profitable with a divi. Will just keep holding PAF & CEY as i cant see any reason to sell and more reasons to keep. Might start having a game of bingo to get some excitement. Wish i hadn`t sold my crypto now in 2019....

Reads flushing out the blockage to me....Did He jump ? At leat the Company remains trading for now and hopefully can get to re-listing soon.

Also added some more as this share has well & truly been beaten up. Cant do anything regarding the market drop which has caused the S.P. to drop a lot more than the dividend, but looks to be a great entry price long term. Fkn Yanks always spoil the party.

Cant understand why this share is trading at such low levels given price of gold & higher profits. When are earnings due again as it will take a positive RNS to break this bubble its in. Tempted to top up again below 16p but in so deep at moment.

Seems a lot have sold out Today thinking that they will get the dividend and be able to buy back in at lower price later. As i was saying, you need to be registered to get the divi. Cant have it both ways.

Bantutrader: You have to be on the register to get the dividend. I doubt if this could be registered in time if bought Today unless you have a good broker. Have had this before when i bought for a divi the day before and not received it because i have not been registered as having the shares on the qualifying date. Correct me if i am wrong please.

Speel: The answer is dilution as more shares are in issue. The Company has more funds but can easily waste them with no value added for LTH. Can see this going even lower so could be better to wait a while if thinking of buying. Was going to buy but think productive gold miners will be a better option for now.

Robina: Do you mean there are 27% free float of 999m shares in issues. Approx 270million shares to be bought ? Seems a lot of shares offloaded. Believe that this is not accurate but open to be corrected.

Broker upgrade "Outperform". Too late for ex dividend so can buy later after price drop Tomorrow and hold. Already in on this one so will take dividend and buy more when drop has bottomed. Looking to get in around £6.25~6.30.

Hi Gavster: Also happened to me regarding a £20K order in that it wouldn`t go through. Fortunate as it was then at 17.55 p so settled for a £ 2 K order. Most orders now in low £16p range with small £2K buys. Market makers are controlling the share issue as to what is available and also controling the price movement. Hope that they are filling a large order for a fund as seen a few days ago in RNS. Definite hold for me as have now got £ 30 K worth with average at 16.8p. GL.

Whatever is keeping the price down is working although i cant see massive trades each day to make it worthwhile for big traders. In this one now with quite a large holding for me as i have been topping up around 16p levels from initial buy at 18p. Must be one of the most profitable gold miners around for size so wont be selling until 20p + is reached. Dividend alone is worth keeping.

Was fully expecting a decent rise Today.
