He’s probably the most unreliable poster on ADVFN.

….and that’s why he shouldn’t be a CEO of a PLC.

He explained why the bid wasn’t in his interest but glossed over the benefit to the majority of shareholders not rolling in.

More importantly he failed to demonstrate a path/strategy that would enable shareholders to realise the price offered.

Now we are at 58p largely due to the BODs inadequate response

So no his social media post was far from adequate.

Tonight’s closing price was 58p.

They were offered 200p.

In the long term we are all dead.

That was an appalling decision for all long and short term shareholders.

Even today there is still no clear path to resurrect to share price over 12 months later.

Usually when a BOD rejects an high price offer the first thing they do is present to all shareholders and the world why they took that decision - Nothing from THG.

Even today Matt could correct his mistakes by delivering the FTSE 250 placing, US split, re-enter discussions with Apollo etc.

But Matt is looking after Matt and unless forced and given a reason him really doesn’t care about the share price.

That’s been obvious for years.

Possibly but the hedgehunds are only taking advantage of poor previous decisions by Matt and Institutional/large shareholders.

I blame the largest/major shareholders for not forcing Matt to resign or take one of the many offers.

It was always going to happen once the share price collapsed.

Some still holding and many sold up looking to buy back lower.

Thankfully not many shorts but still a mess until things at least stabilise

Assuming the numbers are as disclosed pre AGM, it will be outlook and other factors ie listing etc.

It’s also currently starting from a low base this time
