Not expecting any surprises

I did not anticipate the exact timing of either of the previous two public bids.

But I know after past experience that we need a third to lift the price back over 100p.

Let’s hope it’s as soon as possible.

A US listing might achieve the same but that seems more unlikely at the moment.

If Apollo offered 220p and the major shareholders supported MM in rejecting the offer what are the major shareholders expecting from an acceptable offer?

Must be north of 300p?

They wouldn’t wait for 250p surely?

Both figures are very transparently presented on page 45 (24 of pdf) of the 2023 annual report and every other year.

As MM turned down a £2-£2.50 lets hope he delivers a dream £3 one!

US listing is our only hope as he clearly doesn’t care about the current valuation

In my view a US listing is the only thing that works for MM. Maybe separate for each division?

The sooner the better as I also don’t see private equity touching MM again.

This share only seems to go above 100p on bid rumours

They/he also rejected the reported 200p last summer.

Everyone on the board was receiving a substantial financial or other benefit that they didn’t want to loose.

For us 170p was a great price and likely now never achieved without another bid at some point?

Recent fall has been on incredibly light volume but expecting the likely rise into Friday’s changes to be against appreciably higher volumes as the funds declare their positions.
