That can be done publicly at AGM without impacting much.

But not the CEO.

His removal it necessary will not be done publicly until done with a plan.

Going that public is actually highly unusual and a real warning signal.

If he fails to deliver again, I expect that to sell the company from beneath his feet with a secured offer for the company.

The difficulty for major shareholders is that if they publicly turned against Matt at an ATM the shares would plummet further- Matt is a major shareholder.

Whatever the major shareholders do they will do in privacy and likely approach prospective buyers with even more privacy - Likely best route.

It’s more a question of how much of their losses they can recover by staying? Even institutional investors answer to someone and with the US markets rising the targeted return from THG must rise accordingly.

Matt has to be concerned and needs to demonstrate at least a path to start the needed recovery.

He can’t keep suggesting jam tomorrow as the amount of jam required starts to look absolutely impossible.

They won’t give him any warning of their turning against hence votes as AGMs are meaningless.

Yes the rise in the S&P since THG floated has been quite staggering.

I suspect many THG institutional investors will be keen to see sight of a return here.

Even long investors will realise the longer this carries on the smaller that chance becomes.
