Got to laugh after so many journals miss reported the likelihood of ITVs demotion from the FTSE100.

Great news.

Breakfast audiences generate very little advertising revenue.
Their rates are less than 50% of the dally average and as much as 85% less than peak rates.

Reading the above it looks like the delisting of justeats.com is dealt with separately so they need two spaces not one, so sadly ITV’s market cap needs to overtake RMG or BLND to remain in FTSE100.

DPH Is not an automatic addition to FTSE 100 so it’s addition is reliant on ITV being an automatic demotion ie fallen to at least 111.

Effectively ITV could easily stay in FTSE - all depends on Tues.
Needs to stay in the 110 largest companies.
ITV currently at 112 so it’s a very close call.
Incidentally RMG is at 108.
