In my experience when bids fail the price dips as holders waiting for a bid sell but the shorting activity rarely returns - Why would it as clearly the risk of further bids is higher than before?
Yes it will dip back to likely 110-120p but soon recover to 140p ish.
Look at the evidence out there.
But I believe the chances of a successful bid here are extremely high anyway.

The reason for the take Friday fall is yet again caused by the high proportion of trading on broker dark pools 80-70% of the THG daily traded volumes. It makes sense for the price to be dropped to enable the 5m odd remaining short to be closed out ASAP at at than 160p.
On L2 there has been an iceberg sell sitting at 160p for the past few days ensuring it doesn’t breach.
The 5m shorts left will be closed in the 150s next week.

Yep looks like a few on this board are trying to day day trade a share that’s in ‘play’ and shorts are closing rapidly.

Not usual but at certain times all the trading is on broker pools and not the LSE so the LSE shows incorrect pricing.
That happened a few times in first hour when even the LSE Market Market pricing disappeared for a few seconds at various times.
This is a SMEC (SETS) stock so it’s not as easy to trade as a full SETS stock.

They need to issue Q1 update by end of May as promised.

THG has reversed and I am now confident to hold without tight stops.
That’s a first.

33p was the likely end stop if it hadn’t reversed.
It’s still possible but unlikely given recent appointments and news.
But this is a bear market and THG are CURRENTLY a loss making in theory growth company - Not best suited to an inflationary recessionary world.
Thankfully it’s reversed and now others see value.
I also firmly believe MM is entirely responsible for the catastrophic decline.
Maybe THG should have declined given the macro environment as discussed but ?..?….?..?
Anyway hopefully it’s now over but it was a narrow escape.
Without Charles Allen and recent approaches 33p was a real possibility.
I was just looking for a re-entry point when I originally raised it but the new Chairman gave me the confidence to re-join at a much higher point.

So I am not nursing a loss like many here but built my current large position from 89p to 104p ish.
I added again modestly on Friday as it has finally turned.
