If someone makes an bid it has to be available to entire ‘free float’.
That includes all institutional and PI shareholders - both are part of the free float.

You mean the percentage owned by PIs and available on the trading exchanges?
Please also remember a large proportion of the institutional shareholders with have to take the cash they can’t own shares of private companies - they have restricted investment remits.
So that will also need to be added to the PIs and the shares available on the exchanges.
The words ‘free float’ are often misunderstood.

The 24m UT was MSCI
The tree shake was the Market Makers topping up for MSCI.
The late recorded trades were from broker pools - late reported amalgamated hedge fund trades from earlier.
I am also desperate for news but there was nothing today.

You can monitor and isolate the buy / sell volume through the LSE AT order book (very accuratej but with THG it is usually less than 50% of the daily volume so again it’s meaningless..

The Market Makers/Prime Brokers would have been accumulating for MSCI for weeks - they knew when it was happening.
The buy / sell indicator is garbage and should be ignored - as anyone with DMA buys at sell prices, OB (or O) trades usually from broker pools could be either a buy or sell from any time etc etc

Yes the shorts closing is extremely encouraging but that’s over - they only go once.
Now we need a bid.
Hopefully we won’t get any more messing around with the share price by the Market Makers after tonights MSCI purchase but when it’s thinly traded during the day it’s always possible?
But we need positive news(a bid) or gossip to keep the momentum going.

We get an RNS confirming a bid tomorrow at 7am but nothing that’s happened today indicates it’s imminent arrival.
