For THG the cash won’t last forever.
For MM their are clearly additional privacy issues.

He will take it into PE retaining his and his friends/family shareholdings if they want?
It’s about the price the rest of the float want? - that includes Institutional Investors.
He also needs a high enough price to avoid further media ridicule.
That’s my view and I can’t blame him.

ITV seems to have considerable support at around these levels combined with high volume.

You’re probably right but I was so elated to see THG going up after the US inflation numbers and the world was tanking until it too suddenly crashed at 1510!
Friday was a tough day all round by the look of it.

The late trades were either Off Book amalgamated trades likely from broker pools traded earlier in the day and recorded on LSE after close - likely more disclosed on Monday.
One could be a agreed off book pre-negotiated at closing price but difficult to confirm.
Late trades generally tell us nothing despite private investors being facilitated by them.

So what caused the collapse at 1520ish Friday?
Early site of one of these two articles seems likely cause did although I am not convinced they should have?
Nasdaq collapsed at 1430 and until 1520ish THG was holding up and even rose initially after the US inflation data collapsed US market futures?
Is this just more FUD although it did prompt a huge volume in selling on Friday?
I suspect early site of the Times article headline did the damage although I think the market miss understood it’s meaning? Surely the writer of the article realised the ambiguity in his title and the likely impact on the markets?
“Hut investors close door on board suitor” - actually it means 9% of voters at the AGM voted against his re-election NOT against his bidding or his bid!
Either way 91% said YES!
Has this prompted a buying opportunity on Monday assuming no more negative press?

You are right the sellers moved in after the AGM RNS.
Having played back the level2 data the selling was huge and certainly not PIs.
The earlier trading was also strange with a large visible seller.
No idea what to make of it but let’s hope things improve next week but the market certainly doesn’t believe in a bid.
Monday open will be critical.

Some people need to look at the data and not just pretend.
If there is no news over the weekend or rns on Monday the fine it’s a great buying opportunity but is was a very strange day at the open and then at 1500 it tanked.
That’s not the US inflation numbers or Nasdaq but I am sure it didn’t help.

THG dived at 1500 thats a 30 min delay after Nasdaq dropped.
They is something else that caused this.
At 1500 thousands of shares were dumped.
Hopefully nothing from AGM as there was modest dumping at 9am but not like this.

The buy sell numbers are absolute nonsense
You need to know who has DMA access, which pools/exchanges they traded on and especially the transaction time not the recorded time - the recorded time is on the log unless traded through the LSE AT and most aren’t especially if large.
Best ignore buy sell data.
