Staff share incentives work based on the closing share price on the day they are issued.
Any rise in the price from that moment is a benefit the staff accrue.
The lower the better for the staff - they bank the increment when they are allowed to sell.

Perhaps but the history here seems worse than most?
If today’s price (and all since Thursday) was engineered to help to set a low price share base for the staff is maybe admirable but it’s been at our cost.

They have perfectly landed at a low.
I assume they get the benefit from tonight’s price?
At several companies I worked for they used to orchestrate this sort of price movement but never on this scale.
Maybe I am hoping for too much.

Given the economic outlook a recovery to the same floatation world is likely beyond my investor time horizon- maybe 5-10 years away.
We haven’t had a major world in Europe involving a superpower in my lifetime.

..and hopefully neither ours but we are just passengers trusting in their honesty and integrity.

I knew Charles Allen when he was in one of his previous roles but he is not a shareholder here and has not got any financial position.
He won’t be feeling the shareholders pain tonight and neither will MM as he has already made too much money here for one lifetime.
That’s worth remembering.
