RE: “There’s No Place Like ITV”5 Jan 2026 18:20
O'malley... Clueless, devoid of ideas, woke to the gunnels. take some time out to compare your judgement with the real world.
Exactly a year ago ITV closed at 69.90p. ITV closed today at 80.55p or 10.65p up from a year ago. Add to that a 5p dividend which makes the rise 15.65p
or a rise of 22.33%.......If you still regard the CEO as being devoid of ideas, clueless, and woke to the gunnels whatever 'woke' has to do with anything especially as the dunces who use the word can never explain what it means. What share do you own that has done better? how much has your house gone up? which bank or BS offers 15% with the chance of it being a whole lot more.
I imagine you are a sensible canny investor and not a foolhardy gambler, so why are you constantly bashing a CEO who in reality has done ok. ITVx record streams, Studios doing very well, a back catalogue often overlooked. My view is ITV like many UK household names is a victim of the damage caused by Brexit, Putin's illegal war and many other things we call events. It will not take a miracle for ITV to rebound, it's on the cards. Those who have stayed with it and are happy with the returns, remember ITV is a far stronger company than it was in 2022. Just be content and patient, investing in shares is a marathon not a sprint.
