Pogo, you synipsis of the buy/sell 25k ITV shares bears no resemblance to the way I trade. You have 540k ITV shares that lay dormant day after day. If you only traded 50k of them you could get a bit of profit. You are not a trader, so you will never understand. If you are 100% convinced ITV are a one way bet sell to open the 80p PUT options and get some revenue. Worst that can happen is ITV drop in price and you have to buy them at 80p.

O'malley...fortunes are made with the opposite, selling high buying low, you really need to get out a bit more. You should study trading options but I fear it might frighted the 'be jesus' out of you. Excellent film out there called 'Margin Call'.....spend a couple of hours watching it and realise even those being paid fortunes do it more by luck than judgement!!!

What part of the trade is above your understanding. SD is .05% and the reason I put the buy and sell figures in was to show some of the slow chaps that 25k x 2p is indeed £500.00.....I like monkey's don't you?

Pogo....my sell yesterday wasn't executed, but you have to realise that as well as holding a decent stake here, I also trade the share. What many of the trolls do not understand is a small buy of 25k ITV at 80p comes to £20110,.00 inc SD and dealing. A sell at 82.75p is £20680.00 banking around £570 profit. Any investor should know profits are on numbers and 25k times 2p is £500.00 and could have been gotten many times since Jan 1. You know by the crazy way these trolls keep on about losses, if by chance ITV had gone the other way, just buy another 25k it's marvelous how the sp comes back to you.

You know these trolls are morons by their total lack of trading, long, short or sat on the fence.

Yesterday's close at 83.50p was your marker, today's close will be whatever the MM's decide. An 8.34 million BUY this afternoon failed to move it, but wait again till after the bell, then decide if it is not nearing the elusive 85p signal, when it goes it won't wait for you, so get on and lace up your buying boots!!!

Pogo...I treat trolls with contempt, but these on here aren't trolls, I doubt their net worth's are more than a petty cash box.

But if they do frighten a person into selling, it is a travesty. O'malley watches the ITV share price and believes it is falling. It closed yesterday at 82.50p then a big uncrossed trade was registered at 83.50p.....I had a plo sell on yesterday at 82.75p and it was not taken by 4.30pm being marked as no transcation. That trade went unexecuted because the bots were not triggered. I day trade many shares and this one is a mystery, some days you can put a sell order on at a penny more than the live sp is and actually watch it creep up in tiddly trades and be excecuted,

I know it won't be long before an announcement, but I hope these bashers don't convince anybody that ITV is a bad share.

I see that ITV look like they are down a penny but it is MM's just acting on yesterday's price at 4.30pm...the UT trade registered after close was 83.50p but ITV never got near 83.50p yesterday during any time you or I could have sold. Phantom orders are at play here, forget the brainless trolls whining, this share is under the control of MM's hoovering up the tiny amounts dribbling on to the market. Just hold the sp down by placing orders with no intention of executing them to create a false appearance of supply or demand.

O'malley, you are getting out of ITV Thursday, if you take my advice you will buy more before lift off!

Look at the volume and you will see the buy/sell combined at mid morning was very low. What trades are happening are MM's ticking over and ececuting all those tiny deals on their books. it being a penny down means nonthing sinister. If it rises this week on very low volume it could mean we are right before a major, high-volume breakout occurs.

Stop watching the kettle, it will boil when the gas is is turned on, what I mean by that is as soon as we get some positive news from SKY volume buying it will take off.

Maxus.....Your take on McCall is ridiculous, but explains your 22 posts at LSE mean you are a troll. McCall went to Esyjet in 2007 when the sp was under 300p, actually nearer 200p during 06/07. She left in 2017 when the share price £11 pounds. I and many others would call that brilliant as she held the company up in the 09/10 collapse of the USA. She has had a less successful stint at ITV, but events such as Covid and the poison dwarf Putin plus a few other hurdles haven't been kind, but we are still standing albeit looking bombed out. ITV are that share who is out of favour, but that will not be for too much longer. ITV have many loyal fund managers who sit back and reap the dividends, reinvesting those dividends.....who are you going to take notice of, the big money or the whining bashers who are just brain dead keyboard and armchair bores!!!
