Timing of the news just after placement announcement effectively killed any chance of immediate rise dsrt2012 however good the upgrade is and it is very good with big increase in tonnage and viability of an open pit option.

I upvoted a Smellyben post what is the world coming too. Joking apart think Harry has a poor relationship with the Ethiopian mining minister (even though I am not a fan of him either) and Artar have a great deal and know Kefi geo team is doing a great job so are they really going to care about Harry.

Cutting through all the noise and the company shooting itself in the foot it’s the consortium as a whole that will fund the mine so decide if the mine will go ahead.

The delaying factor has been the security factor but nationally would expect the fighting to continue to die down and the Tigray rebels now penned in home region anyway. Regionally a dialogue is being started and security will steadily improve with troops increasing freed up to help security in the regions.

The reality is if you look at other miners in Ethiopia deals are getting done and progress is being made so no permanent inherent reason Kefi cannot do the same.

Even the whole placement deal rubbish as it is shows the directors and Kefi employees are confident of TK getting over the line and them making out like bandits with way they will be able to get so many shares instead of cash.

Ironically that’s why supporters of the company prospects are just if not more annoyed by the way things are being done than it’s detractors.

Did some extra research the mining minister still playing his games the reality is the two miners “warned” were already on course to build mines in Ethiopia they would have just slowed down progress recently till they saw which way the wind was blowing and now they know will resume progress if they have not already just like Kefi really.

Earlier this week the leader of the Tigray forces said its fighters have been ordered to withdraw back to Tigray.
