Hedges are when you sell a percentage of production at a fixed price. Eg oil companies hedge say 40% loans of production at $80 and the rest is sold at spot price. I don’t know the wedge but sorry

No you don’t loose the assets. This share is not listed in Russia and has assets outside of Russia which just got a lot more valuable with the demerger cancelled. The quicker this war ends the better, my only worry is Putin is getting desperate

Most of my shares were bought after the demerger bit I did hold 1000 before and it cost me a £1000 when I sold at £3.40

TOD I assume they will not be able sell as you cannot trade in Russian stocks. The plan must be to hold until things improve. I am stuck in Gazprom at the moment for 13000 shares which cost me £10k. Just wish the war would end for the Ukrainian and Russian normal people

It was actually nearer £1.10 and rising when they released the dividend cancelled.

I am a bit disappointed re dividend and the only saving grace is I would have had to pay tax on the dividend as not in my sipp or Isa. My gripe is the demerger as I qualified by buying at £4.46 and selling at £3.30 . I bought again and have an average of £1.10. I will receive a pittance for my RASP along with all non Russian shareholders as we cannot hold them. They can buy me out at £2 and I would take it.

Hopefully they have a use for the $700 million cash. Not happy as they screwed qualifying shareholders on the demerger. Glad I loaded up on poly as well
