So why is it starting to plummet??

LGEN, PHNX and MNG all have a similar sp fluctuation history with a good yield of 6,7 & 8. It would seem therefore that MNG is the one to go for. I hold all 3.
Having said that 285 is a good entry price for LGEN as a LTH.
Currently considering swapping some my bad tech ETFs into LGEN as they dont have a dividend. That way, of course, tech will go up and LGEN will go down.

Are investors investing on the dip or is it just traders taking a short term opportunity in this recent little rally?

This is the 3rd dip to just over 300p in 3 months. I understand that the dividend will be increased a bit in March but it's a large part of cashflow and cynically looks to me a bit like ploy to support the sp, so how it performs going forward is gonna determine sp growth.

I'm well underwater on 888 so today's rise ( for no apparent reason) is welcome. Could it be the full opening up announcement?
Directors were buying in the 400p towards at the end of last year as are all the broker targets.
Obviously the betting shop purchase and consequent impending fund raise is the issue.
Historically 888 has had winning streaks. Hoping that can be repeated.

Very unambitious price targets from brokers here. It's as if profitable stocks are underplayed and relatively lessers ones are overplayed.

I'd be more inclined to ask whether it can claw its way back to 700?

Investors seem to be selling into today's news and little rise. 'Under the radar' is a euphemism for investors not really seeing value I fear.

A drop back was my prediction but I hope to be proved wrong.
The danger now is profit taking but I also hope the positive news stories prevent that. It would seem to be daft to sell at the moment.

Despite the positive update we are down again. Hopefully it's just the global market gloom. Trying to decide whether to add or wait - which could be what everyone else is doing.

Well once again I made the wrong choice i.e. I topped up on PHNX rather than MNG. Don't know how i do it.

Keller is a good company. A fairly decent dividend too.
I noticed a couple of institutions have bought recently.

Despite the notion that private can fill the gap in the NHS, I think what matters is the bottom line. Spire isn't that profitable and is warning of increasing costs. They can't simply raise prices as most people aren't rolling in money.
The whole market seems to have switched to companies that are reliably making money.
It looks like BOFA has been building a stake this month, however.

Maybe just profit taking.
Maybe cos an apparent small rally so investors switching back to bashed up assets.
Maybe cos Vod loves to disappoint.
May cos I was on track to break even and that's not allowed.

NT listed this some time back as a possible takeover target and so I'm hoping he is right. Of course it might not happen any time soon or at all.

The broker targets here seem modest/realistic. We have a v low P/E and high dividend which IMO makes it a safe LTH. Hopefully a buy and forget share.
