I am afraid that if you are looking for a new vision then the new CEO is most certainly not your man. A buffoon with limited intellect and an appalling track record. He is simply only interested in himself and his position. I do not expect the business to perform under his ‘leadership’. Sorry if it’s not what you want to hear, just my personal, informed and honest view.

certainly money to be made for the brave here, who knows what the next piece of news will be, could see it testing new lows or highs in an instant!

Personally I cannot believe it will be allowed to drop below the £12.00-£12.50 bottom point now, no way these big boys would buy in at this level if they thought for one minute they would lose money, they simply don't do that. They don't take a punt like you and I now do they, not when you are talking millions of pounds, plenty of discussions and DD will have been completed before they agree to jump in.

So interesting to see it test £13.00 then shoot back up really quickly, I guess this may happen again as time moves on but I think presently the upside potential is greater than the down, all IMO of course.

For info, I am currently slightly down with an average in the low £14.00s, thought about buying at £13.00, sadly didn't press the buy button, but I remain reasonably content with my position based on the risk and think it will recover into mid/high teens in fairly short order, quicker obviously with positive news.

Hi Taverham, well I have not received my money just yet, however a very nice young lady from Halifax Share dealing has called me each day including today to let me know they are still looking into it with the team, I sense that they are just lining up their ducks in readiness for an offer, as you know they will be aware of the FSO ruling in your case so have little wiggle room, guess it is just damage limitation now really for them. I will let you know when I get the outcome, if they say no, then I will document the rationale and send in a claim as you did, but hoping we can avoid that palava!

well, well, well, just broken even here after what has seemed a long while, always told myself I would sell as soon as this happened, but now I am re thinking that strategy, what to do.......?

After being down for so long I would be gutted to miss out on the big rise......aarrgghhh! decisions!

Who knows when we will get news on the flanks but I cannot imagine it will be too long, the last update was only December 17th and we have had Xmas and NY since then!

The RNS stated that it was just final approval required now and reading between the lines (if that is sensible) would suggest that is a 'formality' and I cannot imagine would really need to take too long.

For me this is the key, no decision on any potential sale or way forward was ever going to be agreed prior to this approval being in the bag, it changes the asset significantly and surely adds value. Everything just needs to be done in order and in time and unfortunately such things can take considerably longer time than we would like.

Based on research I remain positive and invested and look forward to the updated flanks RNS which I believe will be the trigger and therefore followed by subsequent RNS's fairly quickly detailing the way forward which I imagine has already been decided in terms of plan A, B or C depending on outcome. Broker notes suggest a 12-13p valuation for shares based on mineral prices somewhat less than today, so something north of there would be lovely indeed. I think talk much higher than this is however wishful thinking and a tad unrealistic, if it were so obvious we would be there already................GLA

yep good post Sharebag, I can't think that GB has let us down thus far, he can't do much more to help the share price along than he is already doing.

I agree too regarding next years numbers, he will most certainly have played it cautiously, who wouldn't far better to under promise and over deliver which, failing any catastrophe, will surely happen here, I believe the numbers were mostly based on current understanding of potential clients and not necessarily assuming new ones who will undoubtedly come as the year unfolds. I have not quite reached my target share number yet, keep looking to bag a few more at some point when funds allow and only at under 1.8p so in some ways happy for it to be drifting here but if I miss the boat then so be it I have enough.

We have been at 2p previously and that was prior to much of the latest news so see no reason whatsoever that we will not return there this year. Absolutely a LT hold for me, have not even really thought about an exit at this stage because I remain unclear where this could go given time.

I get the frustration about no news, but not why people consistently ask for news, if the BOD could share anything they would, the fact they haven't is because they can't or have nothing to share presently.......simples

I think you may have hit the nail on the head Applegarth, whatever the 'truth', it was perhaps unhelpful to any negotiations currently ongoing, let's just hope things are still moving ahead and we hear news soon, the fact they were 'annoyed' by such info (if it was the company) and so asked for it to be removed, could in fact be regarded as a good thing, it may have got in the way - just a thought. Thanks Taverham, just contacted Halifax who originally repeated what they said some time ago to me that they themselves were not notified about the EGM so had nothing to pass onto me, I challenged them that I found that hard to believe, it would seem odd that only selected brokers were informed, upshot is they are now looking into it for me, seemingly they have had other investors contact them also. Wish me luck! If I need to contact the FSO, so be it. But appreciate your messages on here.

It is a bit of a conundrum, but if any other AIM share got an RNS like that - MOU in China, triple digit growth to continue etc - then it would be lift off.......with SKIN it always seems far more measured on news, the conundrum is that I prefer it this way actually, somehow it gives me far more confidence we have something special. A fair point, I am very happy with the news but you are right regarding the commercial element. That is what is truly missing presently for this share to take off however I believe it will come.

As I have said before, GB is excellent at the marketing bit, with a little more on the definitive numbers, some year end accounts and some commercialisation of all the great ‘marketeer speak’ then I am confident we will grow rapidly in value. I am sure this will come and happy to be invested here and have been for a while now!

Director buys also helpful £75k is not to be sniffed at and shows a degree of confidence, appreciate he will be trying to demonstrate confidence, but he ain't going to chuck his money away to do that is he........GLA

and the opportunity for Halfords is the 'we fit' offer, lots of new technology and gadgets which people need installing into cars - dash cams, sat navs etc, often cheaper to buy separately and have installed after you buy the car than take the package on offer from the dealerships when buying new. I still think share has some way to go, strong brand, good locations and a sensible and capable BOD, if they get the offer right then this has legs I am sure, I am slightly down on my shares here at present but hopefully not too long now, divi also reasonable albeit not guaranteed.

I hope we get an update later this month on some form of reorganisation. The new team have had a chance to review where they are at and what needs to be done going forward, I believe there will be some disposal of brands with a more focused approach on the key strengths being most likely Wagamamas and F&B, I also believe there may have been a few leadership changes which may be updated on. Let's see, as I said previously I think Xmas will have been OK for them and there have been some big films out which also has a large impact on performance based on locations.

I am optimistic, more and more people are choosing to eat out and RTN sit in a good price bracket for the younger audience and families where the money is spent.

Not sure on timelines but believe 1.50s will be reached again so should get my 10% here, even if that takes 3 months it will be worth it and the dividend sits behind it still which goes some way to mitigating any delay in getting to where I hope / believe.
