if those 2 big buys are indeed buys they equate to circa 1.5% of the business, we have seen this for the last few days, who is accumulating, when will get a notification of holdings?

Certainly looks fishy but I suspect some sort of takeover is in the offing, just a case of at what price?

Can't imagine it will be below £12.50......................

just managed to get my top up but price had moved up, need to be quicker on the draw!

Still if we hit the numbers we all hope then it won't really matter that much.............!

I am taking comfort that we have not as yet had the ‘normal’ company RNS in such situations stating that they note the movement in share price and can see no reason for it.......blah blah blah....

Is this because they do understand and know the reason for it?

I read much on here, contributed little (apologies), and I am a small investor in this share who is slightly in loss presently. However, I hear all the 'noise' but I keep coming back to 2 things - firstly the clear and simple denials of the business via RNS of any major wrong doing and secondly the fact that at short notice major institutions were happy to buy in here at £12.50 per share, now they are not taking a punt or looking for a quick 10%, they are making long term investment decisions with huge amounts of money and are very experienced in it, they have access to greater information than anybody reading this, bearing this in mind can it really be that the share price will not rebound to at least the mid teens at some point in the future............imagine if the MW report has some merit, will the share price sink significantly from where it is now, there is still a strong business model here, someone will want it. Clearly there has been some financial jiggery pokery but tell me a business where there isn't, every company I have ever worked at and there have been a number of household names we would all know, are a little bit suspect financially, certainly treading a very fine line to ensure the numbers stack up as they want in order for the story to be told as they wish.

But imagine if it becomes evident that there really is little to be concerned about, and then NMC do the buyback, the clamber for shares would see this rocket at speeds we probably haven't seen as yet, I may buy a few more............GLA

ah, you may be right Ridgeld, still, a very good RNS and demonstrates where Galliford Try are in terms of potential scale and projects, still believe it warrants a larger push up in SP, maybe investors are a little unsure about such businesses in large projects, there have been problems with others, still believe this is a good punt though and happy to see how this moves forward in the months ahead. Any confirmed contracts on a large scale will undoubtedly lift the share price and there is likely to be some significant infrastructure work in the years ahead.

Congratulations you are my first ever filtered poster, I always promised myself I would not do this, I am happy to hear alternative views but you were warning people off GGP last November when the price was 1.5p, it is now 3.5p with a massive gold find 'confirmed' and heading north.

We all take responsibility for our investments and they will move up and down, but don't suddenly come on here spouting negativity with no real insight or useful thoughts and clarification. Enough said!

I expected a sharper rise here this morning based on the RNS, and if you review the facts and the RNS's then confidence should return and the SP find fair value and subsequently return to where it was prior to this fiasco when the report is published demonstrating all is fine.

Presently though I guess many investors are spooked and therefore hesitant, this perhaps provides the opportunity for those with the large cojones to make some serious profits........

Facts -
1. RNS's from the company stating they know of no reason for the decline and performance is in line with expectations
2. Very competent company brought in to go through books and provide a report
3. Large Institutional Investors prepared to pay £12.50 per share (obviously had the ability to pay at a level they were very happy with due to circumstances) and will be expecting large profit from this, so evidently believe the SP worth far in excess of this level.
4. Institutional Investors knew about the allegations at the time of purchase however were still happy to pay hundreds of millions for the shares, they will most certainly have done DD, they couldn't possible have invested such sums without having done so.

The negativity at this stage is merely rumour and speculation.

Anything I have missed?

a little surprised there is not much chat here, a good RNS I would have thought, should give confidence and allow the SP to continue rising, this share appears a bit unloved and unrecognised at the moment............thoughts?

I am with cb1234, for me the RNS's have been short but clear, not wanting to get drawn into any tittle tattle.

I get the feeling they are deliberately done like this as the business just want the numbers and the report to do the talking, nothing to be gained at this stage by getting drawn into consistent and constant challenges and arguments either way.

Personally I think this is the right approach for a large business, the messages in the RNS are very clear, if they are proven to be inaccurate then it would be very serious and these guys are not stupid.

Good luck Dogger, I am at a relatively small loss here presently which I believe I will get back, when I read the RNS earlier my first thought was for you, hopefully a better day, recover what you can over the coming days and then review your strategy and exposure. GL

hey Schlemiel - what shares have you recently sold out of, maybe a good opportunity to get in...............just kidding, you make a good point, we see it on here all the time, patience is the key in such circumstances, we are all guilty of looking for quick profits and things take time, a lot of time, the real winners are those holders who buy on good fundamentals / news and then 'forget' about them, not reviewing prices every few minutes each and every day - lock them away and come back in a few years, just check in once or twice a year to see how it is going. A few percentage points of a penny here and there up and down makes very little difference if you believe this is heading significantly upwards.

thats an interesting view and may be some truth in it, I would have thought GB is himself a little frustrated that the SP growth has not thus far really reflected his very upbeat announcements either officially via RNS or unofficially via Twitter, he is clearly trying but as you say I don't have him down for a short term sort of guy, he is obviously to build something more sustainable and do it in the right way even if it then takes longer. I trust him presently, no reason not too and am happier with my investment here than in some of my others at the moment where I wish I could exit..........!

I have and my view currently is that the market is unclear how to value this business quite yet, but I believe it will come in time and that is my current position and why I remain long.

I still believe there is a re rate due and the news has done nothing but to support that view in my belief, however I am keen to hear the views of others as the share is not behaving how I would have thought it should presently.

Pilgrim1 - a little harsh methinks..........it is true that we have little financial info on anything and it is reasonable for it to be mentioned, it may be negative but it is also correct. There can be few other AIM shares which receive as much news as this one does, and all (bar the placing thing) positive and upbeat, you can't deny that in most other cases this would have seen the SP move north however we have been stuck in the 1.6-1.8 range for quite a while, not even reached the 2's as we used too with significantly less news than we have now, it does fell odd, I remain positive presently but I understand the frustration of some investors here. All views should be heard IMO.

.............which is so typically SKIN. Don't get me wrong, I am invested, have been quite a while, have a good average price and a chunk of shares, but we always seemed to get so much from GB and Integumen yet so little, nothing ever has any financial data to really help people understand what this could be worth and allow the SP to find it's proper place. It is a little frustrating for me, but I will take it at the moment....................the "material contribution" comment is encouraging though I will have to admit.

and there are probably many like me who are still in the red however are not keen to top up really because probably as much in as they would like and feel a bit peeved buying into a 20% rise........mind you, when funds allow, I might just average down a little, I remain very confident here that I will see my money back and a healthy profit. I expected the share price to do more today to be fair, but thinking about it, we have 50% of shares held in tight hands (ie the company), we have a fair few investors who bought higher than current price (like me) waiting for the re rate and whom won't sell, and then we have the traders who are cashing in on there 50%+ profits having bought when the share languished in the 80s and 90s (which was for quite a while), I guess that is not the best recipe for share price increase - am I wrong?

Crazy movement today on here, really not sure what is going on, will we get back to the open price of 0.675, odds look good that we will, what was that drop all about?
