I for one will free up funds in readiness for a quick top up should the chance arrive below 10p, I hold a fair few already but I am now even more confident that something is afoot and the price will be north of 10p so for me it is a no brainer, I imagine many others will feel similar, who honestly would not have loved to top up a little this morning had you had the chance after the suspension............be honest.

GLA, hopefully a chance tomorrow to get back in.

cannot be that simple, NO WAY would any company do an RNS if some form of conversation had not taken place, not even NMC, far more to this than meets the eye.

Think about it, do you really reckon someone in IR just decides to make it up and send it out, no way, I cannot believe it.

I stick with that, this has been a very unfortunate incident at a very critical time and the 2 parties will now have to decide how to play this going forward, how much to share, what to say to the market etc etc, very poor form from the guy with the big mouth and most likely the end of his career.

I suspect we will now a little more info on where we are exactly with negotiations, information they would rather have kept to themselves at this stage, share price will maybe drop a little on resumption but I guess many investors (me included) would buy a few more (I was kicking myself earlier for not topping up more, now I maybe able to do so!), so SP will stabilise again and we await the 'proper' announcement in due course.

Just my view, we shall see, but maybe a chance to get in and get some more and we thought that chance had gone.................GLA

I find human nature fascinating. Early excitement when suspension RNS lands morphs into tentative excitement morphs into scepticism which morphed into negativity.

Before the day is out we will have messages stating it is to with coronavirus...........!

That's a fair point MoneyMaker2015, however the flanks news was inextricably linked to any sale in my view, we already had partial sign off and it was regarded as a formality some weeks ago, I would imagine now Xmas and NY out of the way and the invite to the conference etc etc, there has been time to get that approval. It would be no real surprise to get that news and possible sale news all at one time as that may have been the last piece of the jigsaw for the purchaser.

Just a view, but makes sense I think, therefore it could all be wrapped up in one.

Nervous though, AIM has the habit of surprising both good and bad..................GLA

Many thanks, missed that appreciate you coming back to me. Looks like SVE really only just getting noticed, I only got in yesterday, should have been in a few days ok when I was made aware of this company.

Odd that it is generally valued at 50% of it's holdings, makes little sense to me, appreciate they may have to take a slight hit if they sold any large investment but not anywhere like that, so certainly appears to be value here.

GGP will increase in value too over time I am convinced so we can ride the back of that and hopefully some of the other investments we have here.

1. The title was not mine, I was simply responding to a previous post
2. 'What research' you ask, like most others hopefully, I have read as much as I am able to find and watched and listened to anything I could find on the company from all kinds of sources, mostly on line, not that it really is any of your concern. What do you feel gives you the right to question this?
3. I am not deramping at all, I hold here and have for quite a while, calling me sly is unnecessary and rather rude, you do not know me. It was not a post for facts and figures, they are out there what more do you wish me to share that you and others may not already know, I am surely not about to predict all sorts of silly prices as many others on here do.
4. What exactly do you take issue with in my posts, I was merely making a point about a possible RNS which we may or may not get, I think we probably should get one based on comments over the weekend, where is the issue in that. What comments about the company have I made that upset you so much?

You post on here a lot, I read most posts when I get a chance, I am not convinced your posts are littered with new facts and figures, rather more your own opinions, thoughts and views, why is no one else able to do the same?

I think you are out of order.

I guess that was the point I was making, if there is truth in the tweet then it may have been challenging to get the right wording together and appropriate agreements in place for release between Sunday pm and Monday first thing, today they could have sorted all that and tomorrow we could get the outcome, we shall see I guess.

Alternatively they could take the view that the guy who tweeted is really no one of any stature and therefore they have no requirement to say anything, in the same way they would treat it if any of us sent out a random tweet..............

as I said this morning, whilst the ownership of shares issue is indeed an issue, and is concerning, and is wrong, and is poor governance etc etc, ANY, and I mean ANY company of this size who instigated a root and branch investigation in order to get the books right for a potential sale would find a few anomalies in who owned what and how it had previously been reported. The City know this, so whilst it looks really poor I suspect no one was really that surprised at all and maybe explains why that news was, by the look of it, overshadowed by the possibility of a bidding war at some point.

Guessing Game - you are right to be cautious, we should always be, I am sure we all share your experiences on other shares, always looking to find that 'one' which will wipe out all other losses from years gone by.........................

Based on the research I have done here however I do remain optimistic and am continuing to hold until the next news unfolds, can see no reason at this stage to do anything else.

I was surprised we had nothing today however maybe they needed some time too write the appropriate note and get it checked and double checked, things are obviously moving behind the scenes so the wording would have to be very cleverly written at this stage, I imagine they are fuming about it.

I have a relatively small position here and have considered averaging down as I am sure many others out there have in recent weeks, however I got in too early and the averaging down I did do was all above the current price! I still think this will be taken over as I stated in a previous post before the weekend, just the price to be determined which will almost certainly be above £12.50, more likely around the £14+ in order to give the recent large buyers at least 10% for their troubles, they will not sell or agree to anything for less than that. Could be a fair bit more if the report is less harmful and the results are good.

I suspect there will be more to come out but also believe the Freeh report will at least clear things up and tidy up the books in readiness for the sale to go ahead with some 'egg on the face' for the owners.

I wish I had the cojones to buy in now as I do believe the sale price will be north of here, but there has been so much erratic movement for no apparent reason I fear doing that and will be just happy now to get back my investment which I believe I will. I took nearly a £1k profit over Xmas from trading this share but left some in which is why I am still here. Best of luck to all those invested, there will undoubtedly be some large losses for some whatever the outcome, I wish you well in recovering those losses elsewhere.

interestingly I have dealing accounts with Halifax and HL, Halifax would not allow me to trade this share, never come across that before, no issues at all with HL............

I guess if they tried to liquidate them all then they would need to do so at a slight reduction in value but 50% seems a bit peculiar.

GGP is likely to continue it's rise, pretty sure it is not done yet and with the market cap covered by the holdings there alone, nice to have the benefit of any uplift there and also the remainder of investments as a 'free ride'.

I only took a small position to be honest, have more in GGP but happy to be involved, a little surprised it is as quiet as it is on here, makes a nice change to some of the nonsense you get on other BBs - GLA

with 56m shares in issue the market cap here is £3.5m with a share price of 0.0625p - yes?

SVE own 85m shares in GGP (confirmed on website) which at todays price of 0.051 amounts to £4.335m - yes?

There is therefore a discrepancy of £835k to market cap from the GGP shares alone - yes?

SVE own a number of other shares in projects around the world - yes?

SVE are undervalued to the tune of nearly 24% on the GGP shares alone taking no account whatsoever of the value of anything else they hold - yes?

This LSE are shocking at updating the RNS's. The best place I have found is the London Stock Exchange RNS page, updated 7.00am every day without fail and then throughout the day as required. Just google 'LSE RNS'

Always an exciting read at 07.00am each day.

seriously adzy2K11, if any major company was put under the intense level of investigation going on here you would find issues around share ownership and transparency, it is not great granted, in fact it is very poor, but let's not kid ourselves that it is unusual in any way because it is not.
