DEBS1 - unsure as to the the basis of your comments, but I can clarify one thing for absolute certainty, your point re Booker is WHOLLY INCORRECT, I worked for Booker for a period of time and their sourcing of meat products is excellent, they offer a wide variety of meat from a number of countries based on a Good / Better / Best hierarchy and they do sell Brazilian, but also meat from many other countries including the UK. When I was there the UK meat was from Ireland, the exact same factory who supplied M&S, that is fact, they also sold Scottish from time to time too.

looks like we have the usual culprits who bought in just before news was expected and are now selling out at small losses, never sure that is the right approach, may work for some but a dangerous and expensive game.

Stick and hold for me, have already doubled up so reckon pretty much a free ride from here although disappointed we have heard nothing...............

looks like just under 1500 may have been the bottom.......well done those brave enough to buy in there, finger is hovering but I think I will leave this one alone for now. Keep having to remind myself not to gamble on such events which is probably why I will never be rich!

watching from the side lines, thought about going in, pleased I didn't, have been watching this share over recent months go up and up, carnage today and really feel for LTH, the vast majority now in a loss with 3 years worth of gains wiped in hours. Just goes to show what can happen, but many will have suffered huge losses today so let's spare a thought for them.

No way will BJ leave with no deal, he has just won a large majority on the basis of many Labour seats where a hard Brexit will hurt most, he knows that to stay in power and retain those votes he needs to look after these areas, the last thing he will do is harm them in this way, he may act stupid but he isn't stupid. Totally get he can now play a little more hard ball which is all this is about, put some doubt and fear in the EU, they see this crazy guy who has a strong position and I imagine are thinking "he wouldn't would he, then again, maybe he would, we are not sure, uumm....ok then lets give them what they are asking for because he is unpredictable" - just my thoughts, but is how I see it.

I would imagine the company would not be that keen to negotiate a sale too much prior to the flanks approval anyhow as this changes the game somewhat, so perhaps now they will get the serious potential buyers round the table again and ask "what price now then?". This was always on the sidelines and is an important part of the operation, it now looks like forming an important part of the potential sale.

It read like a very positive RNS to me.

LTH, like myself, have no reason to worry here, we have seen the SP move up to 70p, it will again in time (certainly within next few months), just a matter of how far it drops and if you have the b**ls to sell and buy back in on further drops before it moves north in a more concerted way...........if you are a LTH be happy to wait and take the dividends without all the stress of being in and out, that is not for us all. I think it is exactly that, was bound to settle down a little after the big rises since Friday, I myself took some profits yesterday from my supposedly long term FTSE 100 shares, looking to buy back in lower and have set myself some figures to get everything back but a little lower. I have never done this before, I am a buy and hold man normally but decided to try this approach for once and I think it may work out ok............but as I said, I will buy back everything I sold, just when it hits my target price and as a result I will have circa 5-10% more shares for the same money. As I am in for dividends mostly this seemed to be the right thing to do.

I guess the immediate reaction post GE gave us an indication where this was moving too - I was too late to get out at 69p and buy back the dip sadly, I am sure the more experienced traders (and braver ones) did exactly that and have done rather well over the last couple of days. I myself am still pretty happy though, this is by far my largest holding and tbh rather too large really. 70p in the next week or so should be achievable and then who knows.............GE, PPI, US/China talks all 'sorting themselves out' - maybe we will see the elusive £1 during 2020!

Do the quarterly dividends really make much of a difference here, matters very little to me personally but do the institutions prefer that?

we will be back at 2.0p again in the not too far distant future I am sure so topped up again with 50,000, nearly a million now!

exactly so Taverham, I have been in that same place but have also seen so many AIM stocks move up then collapse with only a small chance of ever recovering, I could have sold in profit but got greedy only to lose out days later, I remain optimistic, I hate to sell at a loss, but as profits increase elsewhere I may just do it to cleanse myself of the AIM drug and then stay well away, it has been an expensive lesson and I am determined to get off AIM with as little damage as possible. Whilst a bit boring, the money I have lost over there could have given me a decent income and much less of an emotional rollercoaster.

sorry to hear that, I assume you mean Sirius, investors were royally stitched up there. Have a few of my own disasters to be honest, trying desperately now to extract myself from AIM as profitably as possible and pump it all in FTSE 100 and 250 market with dividends between 5-7%, plenty about, if only I had understood that earlier and had adopted a proper investment strategy, currently looking at £30k dividends per year from my portfolio but should really be closer to £40k if I had invested more wisely, still at least I learned and now have a strategy to follow, need to be so disciplined though. I need to work on selling at highs and re buying on dips, even with the big boys there are opportunities to do this, this is my next focus.

Bellers, think you played it correctly, I was too late to sell earlier and missed the rise to 69p, since then I have been checking regularly but nervous to sell today now, missed the boat I fear. I have held for quite a few years so I guess I should just be happy with my lot, tuck them away and wait for the gradual rise which will come during the year ahead.

For now I will remain content with a pretty good dividend. Maybe the fact that Brexit is now a 'certainty' is the one factor pegging this back presently.

Agreed SUFCESSEX, thought about selling up my 300,000 shares last week, or at least a part of them, in the end I stuck with it. It was a risk and I was a little worried yesterday as the fall would have been far greater had we had a Hung Parliament, the upside today is a little muted I feel, stabilising closer to 70p would have been fairer I think, but as you say, should form a new base and move on up here hopefully.

Just wondering about taking profits elsewhere today in case of a drop back next week as things settle, anyone thoughts on that, what are others doing......?

Bought in at 36.6p so a good price, was hoping to hold for a while but I will not invest my money in any company led by this goon.

He bottled it at CoOp saying it was 'ungovernable' only for Richard Pennycook to come in and make a great job of it, he wrecked Superdry and he is so far up his own a**e it beggars belief. Limited intellect but a networker. I have witnessed him in action. However he has survived in business is beyond me, don't they say something like "people get promoted to the level of their own incompetence" - something like that, anyway thats it for me in Saga, GLA, you will need it.

my post on 'takeover' was merely quoting what has been said in the CC seemingly and reported by a major news agency, it's a fair question, it may or not happen but clearly Tullow have put it out there.............just interested to understand other PI views on what fair value is now we have a better understanding.
