Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Too many are basing their covid investments on local and not global, but this is a global problem and until every country has reported no new cases then there will be a continual demand for testing
True enough, however, if your product or those that you represent are not of a certain standing, then, that becomes complicated.
Coincidence with 5G masts going Live and radiating everyone beforehand?
I'm not one for conspiracy theory but maybe it's the cause: I read up on the symptoms of Radiation poisoning. Ask, how on earth do they know the timelines, to the day? Something isn't right.
I don't believe this represent s the true value of the business and it's assets. The announcement stating "consider the terms of the Acquisition to be fair and reasonable," suggests so too. With previous acquisitions and an older SP considered, the offer should be higher.
With Reference "cold weather snap cost them £20m in call outs..." I'd suggest, if they diagnosed jobs correctly first time, then, and only then, would they reduce cost, regarding personnel effectiveness. Last year, I had them out 5 times, for the same fault. My brother a Gas Safe Engineer, diagnosed the problem before they even came out - I passed the information on too.
Did they listen at CS and when their engineer arrived, NO! I even rang Glow-worm Tech, with their BGs guy there, still ignored it. In the end, BG ended up changing the parts advised but in a drawn out fashion.
What do you derive from that? They try to do repair/call-out jobs on the cheap, which ends up costing more than 3times the amount, if correctly diagnosed and repaired as per manufacturer recommendation.
There will probably be nothing for shareholders I think.
we have found the same, to the tune of £30pw ! I missus was a not willing to change for yrs, then just before this yrs summer school break, tried Aldi. Now she hardly goes to Tesco, unless passing for milk or bread on the way home. That's it.

You may be correct regarding their views maybe old school, it wouldn't surprise me. I had the pleasure of being interviewed by an EX DX Director, recently; although working in a different environment. I was appalled by her understanding of what works today and what's on the horizon. If those 'views' are still there, well says it all. What do I know of DX? Well, I was part of the team that set up DX (Document Exchange) when part of Data Express, prior to Hays Group buying the businesses. Suffice to say, I declined the offer when it came, as there was too much of a gulf between our expectations and views. Plus, I don't like carrying others, who always, look to take your wins, as their own.
A shame really. I remember starting this business up, whilst part of Data Express; owned by HAYS PLC. DX (document exchange) at the time made money, sad to see this result. I remember doing the original marketing pictures etc. and being a poster boy.
A lot of this, could be from indecision within the business. It's easy to say 'where're going to do this', and don't have a viable, executable plan!
just bounced back up. Very strange

Sorry to see the loses mentioned hear today. I don't feel good in pointing to my first post earlier today, this smelt exactly of what happened to RAY, way back - albeit there was a payout @ 20p. I don't see much coming out of this, I'm afraid.
This isn't good, unless I'm wrong the only strategic investors now remaining in the process are those whose proposals are not expected to contemplate the continuation of London Mining Plc, the listed legal entity, as a going concern. As previously announced, discussions were ongoing with potential strategic investors about structures which the Board believed would result in little or no value in the equity of the Company but the discussions with the investor which might have resulted in little value in the equity have ended.
Could go into admin. Package deal sorted, sold to prospective buyer - JSW?
Possibly, may have a premium, who knows? GLA to those still in.
