When your brother '*****es' about the number of deliveries and returns, he and his wife do facilitate, for their daughters? Hopefully, that helps. P.S. I've never invested in something I'm unable to see the reality of. Been here in BOO, since the 46p days.
They must be aware of returns categories sufficiently enough to find a solution. The problem you have is the automatic, right of return, for online purchased items. Unfortunately, people wear the goods out (label attached) and return them. Ho can you tell, other than sniffing the goods - which some companies do?
They could stem the returns if they had the will to do so. Too many, are probably being worn, then returned for refunds. That practice, if indeed it happens, needs stopping.
This - "This was taxpayers’ money, dished out to companies because of who they knew, not what they could supply. The result - unsurprisingly - was a waste of hundreds of millions of pounds. In these contracts alone..." is why, Boris and et al, should be in Court. Wholly illegal and against procurement guidelines and PPE specs.
Anyone can claim 'sexual harassment' the damage is done, whatever way you look at it. You may see examples of those not being 'targetted', getting the hump, by NOT being propositioned - I've actually heard of this within a major.
I have to agree, "S.Potter on as a non-exec. IMO the wrong move," is one of the stupidest things, for any new MD/CEO, to deal with: backseat driver, anyone?
Firstly, Boohoo must be commended in releasing their supplier list, on-time - it's not something we do, within Healthcare (Medical Devices etc), as it's proprietary information.
Personally, I would have expected the SP to have done more this morning but Boohoo' SP, has been a bit of a damp squib lately. Performance of the business appears to be on track, however, using our daughters' experience of recent clothing, quality needs to be improved, as garments are splitting at the seams, within a day-or-two... not good.
Well, Leveson didn't hold back. If that landed on my desk, I'd appreciate the candour but, be more than unhappy, as to our Governance, procurement structure/processes and supply chain knowledge/ethics.
That being said, it's all out there now. We should hopefully see stability soon, however, I would suggest, a monthly or qtrly KPI report is published (maybe slightly delayed) but published, to instil continued confidence, in their attainable goals.
As a Head of SC&P (HC), it's uncomfortable to read but, there's the acknowledgement of change in direction and with pace. boohoo, need to ensure training is standardised for function and ensure those employed, are capable, in delivery of the role they are employed for; it's obviously the area the failed, spectacularly.
Why sections 8, and, not categorising your supply base, ever came about, is unbelievable.
Yes, I was at the High Commission, London, with when questions were asked relating to the costs and Mobil contract. The US have a great deal, my concern is, Guyana will squander the money - corruption is rife there too.
