If Asher had thought that Cameroon approval was imminent he would have waited before a placing.
The PSC expires on May 11th so whatever he's doing it'd better be quick now.

People are assuming that the delay is down to Cameroon MINMIDT.
Historically Tower have had a good relationship with the Cameroon Authorities.
I have always thought that it was our proposed JV partner Beluga that was the weak link.
Anyone invested should take a close look at them and consider where they could possibly have access to $15m and secondly whether Cameroon would approve of them.

I suspect Asher is looking for another more credible JV partner right now.

A company called " Envoi" look to have been engaged by Tower to find a JV partner back in June last year ( possibly earlier ).

He can't seem to say Njonji correctly and he gets the PSC extension wrong ( he says March when it's May 11th ).
Also some of the figures look a little optimistic, but he's a salesman.

It seems Tower are still an active project and it's probably no coincidence that New age are using them for SA.

Looks like a one man band outfit and so it would seem they're still looking for someone with a spare $15m or is it $16m with the difference being the finders fee.

One of the conditions for success as stated in the RNS is that we need the approval of Beluga shareholders.
Beluga are a private company with a handful of large shareholders and so it would not be unreasonable to think that the shareholders would be onside with this , especially having agreed heads of terms.

The envoi dude is right about one thing and that's the opportunity to invest in a short cycle project with this COS at this price is good.

I think it's time Asher udated us all again.......It's gone too far past the nominal 60 days now to just say delays are normal for a simple application for a non controlling change of equity and the approval of a company who are supposed to be on board already.

MINMIDT are being asked to approve a 49% non controlling interest in the company and also to approve Beluga's participation.
Given that TRP have good relations with the Cameroon Authorities then the question mark looks to really be over Beluga.
They operate out of a boiler room in Lagos Nigeria and are trying to move what is a trading business into the E&P sector.
Could be they cannot raise the $15m or Cameroon just don't like them or consider their participation " Inappropriate".
With the Oil price where it is then Asher should have other finance options available and I would have thought they should be queuing up for a piece of the action here.
MINMIDT have granted a PSC extension to May and so time is running down.
I think we may have to get a new JV partner here and quick to get this done without further complications.
What do others think, especially with regard to Cameroon/Nigeria relations and opinions of Beluga as a suitable partner.

It's good to see someone else spending a lot of money on exploration and if they're successful then the correlation data and proximity will add value to the Namibian asset.
Asher is concentrating on Cameroon and has been for some time, to the extent that he is almost dismissive of the other assets.
Getting this drill financed and moving is critical now on a path to a cash positive company.
All to play for providing we can secure the finance.

I got this covid thing in March 2020 , three weeks before the first lockdown and the only reason I knew it was covid was because everything lost it's taste. Frankly it wasn't even worth mentioning and was a bit of a cough and initial flu like symptoms that disappeared within days.
Covid scares are relevant to the entire stockmarket and that's why so much of it has already been posted on here so let's just ignore it as that is not really relevant to the current situation with TRP.

I'm more concerned about the lack of approval from MINMIDT.
It's only to approve Beluga taking a 49% stake and not any change of control.
I've always had doubts about them as they are just small time traders.
Maybe that's why they said they're ' still working ' on the financing. ?

Right now I don't know of any neobank operating a blockchain stablecoin platform and getting a license to operate such a system is the goal now as I see it.

There's no evidence for any merger and why would a penny stock with a lowly Mcap be in line for one.
I don't think the company would want one and neither would I .
The technology is ready to go on a blockchain stablecoin platform based on Jelurida tech and it would be wise to get that operating which is exactly what Jack Bai is doing.
