April Fool Part 2
The following Post should only be read after reading Part 1.
I have been busy fooling about the past few weeks and I thought you may like to know what I have been doing. I flew out to Switzerland well actually Lugano and then hired an AVANTI car and went and seen a few Swiss Financiers. They said it was too cold to discuss things on my mind and suggested taking their private jet to Sardinia as they could get me into some of the finest villas. The villas were in excellent condition and there were no for sales up (so if I had wanted to buy one or two I could not!)
The Swiss Financiers liked my proposal so we then flew to Northern Italy and drove first to the town of Albiano DIvrea and then the village of Tina. Two major roads pass next to the village of Tina the A4 & A5 and this is where the large piece of land is located. We spent a few hours walking on the land and discussing possibilities. It was interesting to note that the land was no longer being cultivated. The Swiss Financiers were very excited and used a private drone to look at the land and the surrounding area. They commented that there were no major retail parks in the area and not any large hospital or healthcare facilities in the surrounding area.
After some lunch we drove for about half an hour to a Waterpark called Ondaland. There was a lot of activity going on, workmen unloading stuff and there was a buzz about the place. It looked like this was not going to be a summer attraction for much longer more like a 365 days a year attraction.
We then took a private helicopter to the City of Padova, (where FG graduated from) and had some further meetings.
A special EGM was called for Mediapolis and various proposals were put to the BoD and agreed. The Swiss Financiers agreed to lend CLP 2017 about 4 million on a very short term of three weeks at 1%. CLP 2017 offered the liquidator on 30/03/18 the 4 million (this was more than the court appointed land surveyor had valued the land at which was 3.86 million) which they accepted in exchange for the land and ten Sardinian Villas. The liquidator paid CLP 2017 2,678,357 (the amount agreed for the first charge) and also paid another creditor in full 165,718. The liquidator took 10% which was 400,000 and this left 2,125,925 which included the money in the blocked escrow account of 1,370,00.
From the 2,125,925 the liquidator distributed this between the unsecured creditors. CLP 2017 was entitled to 93.85% which worked out at about 1,995,181. So what we ended up with was The Land, The 10 Sardinian Villas and cash of 4,673,538. We repaid the Swiss their 3 week loan of 4 million which worked out at 4,002,308 and we had cash in the bank of about 671,230.
