A monthly magazine called AIM Prospector has picked up on VLE for its new March issue - nice coverage on p.10: Http://issuu.com/aimprospector/docs/201503_issuu_ap/c/su1x3ty The conclusion is fairly open, leaving it up to the reader to determine value. I would perhaps criticise the article for not making it clear that the £12.2m cash pile alone equates to the £12.7m m/cap, so that adding everything else in makes the undervaluation perfectly clear. One extremely interesting point which I'd forgotten about: "There is £5m of property, plant and equipment on the balance sheet, the lion's share of which is accounted for by a factory". This was mostly acquired via Shire Foods, including the factory, and obviously makes Shire Foods worth a hell of a lot more than simply as a trading concern. It also of course consolidates even further the undervaluation here. It would be interesting to know when the property was last valued. Worth a dig into the full accounts perhaps.

Excellent results - the 79.2p reported EPS and the 74p diluted is well ahead of consensus 73.52p EPS, and the 22p dividend is right on target. The outlook statement is also nicely positive, despite the expected downturn in offoshore oil, which FSJ state doesn't affect them too much given their involvement in production and development rather than exploration and appraisal. Gearing remains reasonable, so plenty of room for further acquisitions as well as today's purchase.

Results will be out 16th March, We already know they'll be good - and will show almost £10m of net cash to spend on acquisitions etc. Good to see Techinvest buying more too for their portfolio.

Looking very strong going into next month's year end trading update - unsurprising considering the fundamentals, the market-leading position and the positive outlook from H1.

Interesting to see around 200,000 shares sold this week, but the share price is solid. Someone accumulating perhaps. The interims were OK, with some promising comments about trading etc and the much seasonally better H2 to 31/3/15 to come. I'm hopeful that after all this time the transition to SaaS will finally start to benefit cash flows - as will the passage of time on trade debtors and accrued income. A m/cap of £1.7m remains tiny imho considering the client base and what might (just might) be the case in a year or two's time as regards cash flow and profitability.
