"Brave Bison - Fifth EPS upgrade this year
October 2025
"it dropped its fifth acquisition of the year, snapping up MTM, a high level consultant, paired with the announcement of blistering interims. In light of that, Cavendish upgraded again. Its current year EPS were hiked 13% to 7p, with next year’s number soaring 20% to 8.4p. With acquisitions in for a full second half, I can see these shares nearing Cavendish’s 150p target."
"Nature and scale of profit changed
To show how the nature and scale of profit has changed, just look at the numbers. In FY24, Bison reported £21.3m in sales. For FY25, with the new businesses onboard, revenue is expected to climb to £31.5m - and once the full effect of these deals is captured, sales could exceed £45m next year."
"Performance marketing is another growth focus, given the dominance of search engine spend in marketing budgets. Builtvisible, a performance marketing agency specialising in SEO, has been merged with Greenlight and now operates under the Bison Digital brand. While new website design work is progressing gradually, the SEO side is humming - especially with AI driving a step-change in the results that the team can deliver for clients.
Green highlights Bison’s proprietary AudienceGPT, an AI tool that simulates your ideal customer. You define your target - say, 25-year-old Gen Zs in Golders Green who care about climate change and love surfing - and AudienceGPT creates a virtual version of that persona. Marketers can then test campaigns against it to see which messages grab attention, which turn people off, or even which colours work best for an advert."
"MTM new into the fold
The latest two deals really stand out - they’re solid, high-grade businesses and would have been just as much at home as part of business publishers like Informa and Wilmington as they are here. The first, which looks a cracker, MTM, joined Digital Content just last month. As Green points out, while the rest of the division is all about hands-on delivery - driving sales, generating conversions and producing content - MTM plays a different game entirely, offering high-level advice and strategic insight."
"MiniMBA was founded by Professor Mark Ritson, one of the world’s most respected marketing educators. In today’s AI-driven marketing landscape, where complexity is soaring, global firms are investing in their people - 6,000 take the £2,000 course each year, with 40,000 participants to date. MiniMBA is projected to bring in £11m sales for FY25 with a mouthwatering EBITDA margin of 33%, even after royalties to Ritson."
