bad!!! They've been buying their own shares back for a while now - Millions some weeks - But until recently the share price just goes backwards.

In theory it should be good for div security and div growth but not yet

Agreed - Aviva should have paid the declared divi and then taken stock before deciding what to do going forward.

Latest RNS reads quite well - Normally this REIT trades a tad above NAV so c. 25% potential appreciation if and when the SP catches up with the current NAV.

Also I like to see the directors buying

To make that kind of money you would have needed c. 60,000 shares and bought on or around the bottom - I find it hard to believe somebody bought 60,000 AV in the heat of the market crash

Within reason it slightly under performs but within reason follows the FTSE 100/250 combined indexes but pays a much higher dividend.

I think you'll find a lot of ETF's / Trusts / Funds made some errors when armageddon struck in March

Sadly I still hold both. I invest primarily for income so my big fear now is a div cut at SLA.
I could stomach the share price drop at Aivia until they stopped and then dropped the div when they didn't need to. I will see how things unfold with the disposals but will make an exit soonest. Good luck to all the holders who bought in here recently, they have a nice div now and the chance of some capital appreciation but I just can't see this share going back to the previous dizzy heights even with the ridiculosly low NAV.

Why sell IUKD? It's one of my core holdings along with CTY that give me a low cost diversified position In the FTSE

As I recall we were given the option to sell the B Shares straight away but after the 7/8 consolidation the value of my holding was almost unchanged. So a none event really and then they went on to waste 750m on buy backs which have had no effect at all. I think Standard Life were much better on their own, relaible stable SP and consistent decent divs - Then they bought the basket case Aberdeen Ass Management and the rest is history

Cracking buy at 9p Iron - I expect these to return to the level they were at before the black swans flew in, might take a while though unless Brent takes off unexpectedly
