But still no big rises In the SPs in fact a drop in RYA still unlike yesterday RYA not pulling the sector down.

Post dividend date and payment, only one divided a year oil price rise in the dollar ( not today ) plus the upheaval in parliament EZJ will take its time to recover but be In know doubt it will and when we least expect it..

Same thing happened this time last year on good results. Then there was a good rise the following day, over sold and a good buy.

American market opens then rises and what happens here stocks start to slide.

Day. Your name on this board seems appropriate today with EZJ, first thing they was down 18p now they are up 9p so a good day trade for them that got in early.

I have stated in the past EZJ in the last two years have paid £1-50p per share so since March 2017 that's £ 1500 per thousand held. And in that time have risen to eighteen pounds .RYA have there own story to tell you make your choice and bank your dividends.

Only problem there is two ex dividend dates one is for the special dividend last year the normal dividend recovered quite fast after ex dividend date , time to make a decision is just before the special ex dividend date.

Problem with that data. it's not always that accurate on this site ...

This has happened with TW before on the annual and half year dividend, at the moment it depends on the market rising on ex dividend day. On the other hand a few have still to recover after ex dividend one that comes to mind is barratt...

Yes looks like EZJ are pulling the sector up once again, could do with a long run of rises to get back into good territory, good thing is that dividend next week, with also GSK, BP, HSBC about to pay their dividends as well

Bit of a surprise large drop today putting on hold a few of my expected excursions into new purchases.but even they have taken a hit looking at the moment at the posts on IAG.and to get back into Aviva. Who dropped today on there results but paying a good dividend of 20p , ex dividend on the 11th April, so still got a while to make those decisions, let's hope I can get it right and buy at the low..meanwhile hoping EZJ rise.

Depends on when you thought ex dividend day was I sold my gks shares Wednesday and bought more ezj same day.they then went ex Thursday (yesterday ) so to receive dividend you have to buy by 4-30pm day before ex dividend thus Wednesday..

Denby 69..because you bought on ex dividend day and they dropped over 90p taking in the dividend, then you stand a good chance of a rapid increase back up to the pre dividend S.P like today's nearly 40p rise.but take heed it does not always happen that way but easy seem to be one that does !
