Dow was down over 800 points yesterday!

Ex dividend today

Tom ft down over 500 point I the last couple of months. All my shares are down from their highs except BP who dropped as well.today. for someone out there with the money to invest there is a few bargains to be had out there!!

Sold a few at 5-99p last week bought them back this morning at 5-79p let's hope the rest of the week they get back up to six pound ??

Markets and UK stocks been depressed for a while now.when do we think we will get the start of a good few days rises. Shares certainly not on par with 2017. At this rate it could be one of the few years when the markets lost. Let's hope with me saying this I am once again wrong !!

Nige totally agree with you. That why I said lets see what happens in the next few days. Word are easily said its actions we need to see. It started with the words she said in Downing street when she took over the premiership. All words no action since.

Latest guardian news.. May says she is scrapping the cap on what councils can borrow to build houses.

Maybe the fact she has lifted house building money restrictions from councils

May's speech had an affect on share price?

Back in with a top up of 10000. Sold at 193p bought back at 166p hope for a quick upward trend after tomorrow's ex dividend

Look at the price of oil and the extra dividend this share should well be over six pounds .

Only one of my shares to have had such a down turn and more of it today. But these shares now look a bargain at today's price will keep hold of my remaining share after selling half at 18 pounds. And look forward to the recovery in the run up to Christmas.

555p to 578p plus dividend in one week not bad at all.just need the rest of my shares to recover.glaxo on the up and barratt starting to do well now befit ex dividend next month . Only down side is easy jet but Europe affecting them at the moment !

Three working weeks to ex dividend date. So a 20p a week rise would take ot to 630 -640p, like last year a decision to be made to sell or hold at the the moment my feeling is to hold, but the worry is the after ex drop and like last year the bigger drop in the coming months,so if they get passed 640p I will sell a good portion of my shares. At a good profit.

Getting near payment date, if all that money is reinvested could see a nice rise Friday?

All share prices in the doldrums last few weeks time for the buyers to get back I before it's too late !!
