Pokerchips. What divi is this your talking about the latest one was paid today. ( Anybody recieved it yet ?) Sp next one will be in twelve month that is if one is declared not very likely with no income coming in so you may get a rise in the S.P in the long term but the divi is another matter.

Sage ..yes it's only a paper lose .and I dont need the money at the mo but its stomach wrenching to see what once was reduced by so much and still falling also these companies will stop paying dividends in the near future so another income that will not happen ! .finally even the price of gold that I have invested in is not gaining in price . It was once a safe haven but everyone is selling everything to release capital . Cant even say at least we have our health...

At what price do these shares become junk ? With no income and plans grounded this is now possible I hope not but stock holders have already taken the major hit..

Except for having a bad back at the moment I am ok.sold out my ezj shares at nine pound so waiting for the bottom to buy back in so if I get back in at seven pounds will have the same amount of shares and ten thousand pound cash in hand but plans are just plans at mo. So hope you and day trader are ok . Don't tend to post that often but still reading post and nothing much as changed those who post just like to get personal and have nothing to offer in the way of good advise and your posts do tend to help in my opinion.

If you think these shares will drop further would it not be better to sell now and buy back when they get to seven pounds or below?

Sean 01..but dont you think that the SP will drop by the special dividend when they go ex so really you cant add it on to make 2-50p ?

Back to the SP on Wednesday so not a bad week after all. Pre britex next week so hope they continue the rise and not get lost in the politics of it all.

Trouble, just had to comment on your J.C.remark the man .might have many faults but to compare him to mass murderers is a bit over the top, we are now I a period of what the people wanted and that was out of Europe and the combination of labour's and libs going against democracy and labour's leader was their downfall and to suggest that if they had won they would start a genocide in this country was going a bit far. Anyway it's been a good day yesterday for all shares , but the next week will show if will continue into the new year, best of luck with all your investments and hope the crystal ball could be of some help in the future..

After all RYA dont pay a divi, so you have to live on the rises and falls.

Day. Seems to be the trend now in the fifties one year then down in the forties next year. Seeing they only pay one divi a year the rise in the SP is more important a couple of pounds up by next divi is worth more than 14p drop in the divi,but that only applies if you are prepared to sell a few ?

Could easily have dropped on the results like on many occasions in the past when we have had good results only to recover in the following couple of days. So this is a nice surprise,so heres to a good upward trend to Christmas and next years dividend.
