Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Nick if you could have sold on Thursday and still hold the rights everyone would have done the same and bought back Monday at a lot lower price . Afraid it does not work that way it goes by the ex rights date 13th same as ex dividend date hold the shares on that date and you get ex rights .registered date of Wednesday is to stop investors Pilling into the share to get the rights at a cheaper price. If you want to buy extra right buy the nil right shares at the market price on Monday whatever that might be maybe someone could come up with a good guess
Slim ..it means if your on the register on Wednesday you where entitled to the right issue anybody buying Thursday was not the ex date for receiving and selling or buying the rights is Monday the 13th the ex rights day so like when stocks go ex dividend the share price will drop by not to much is the hope. And if you want to sell your rights Monday there will be a separate nil share price for these on Monday not necessarily the 4-10P Offer price to buy into the right issue.
Just spoke to barclays share trade corporate division and if you sell today you will not get your rights they go ex tonight at 16.30 so you can only deal in rights or have right if you have your shares at 8am Monday. Sell to day and you lose that right.
Thought the government said the I newspaper report on school closures was wrong ! Smithy what are you doing with your rights issue buying into it or selling your right or don't you have any shares In Ezj since you ask questions maybe you will answer this one
Meanwhile, airlines cheered reports that the traffic light system may come to an end.
Per the telegraph...
A new system based around the vaccination status of travellers rather than the status of a country being visited is under consideration by ministers,
That why o don't often post everybody is wrong but you. Prove it with facts not what you make up covid figures based on pubs sporting venues full figures still averaging the same 35000 to fourty thousand not the 100000 predicted and unless a complete lockdown that the government can't afford another furlough people after two years will be flocking to get away
Doom and gloom is all you spread back your arguments with fact and one fact is 5-20p to 8 pounds proves your wrong and if you can't predict the last three months who's going to believe your next three
RYA and there position in the sector will help keep the sector up and as for the winter months more and more people will want to get away in normal years the market would be flat in these month but there is still sunny places in the winter that wi this year be pulling visitors in.
Sorry Smithy been here a lot longer than you ! Read all the post but don't post on the. All the down would trend happens but if you ow shares in ezj you want them to rise but if your playing them to go short then you have not been in a winning position for a long time so good luck with that you are flogging a dead donkey.!!
Alas Smith..seen share gradually rise and that rise eliminated in one day watched EZJ rise day after day by over a pund a day so wow sooner see that at least a one day drop can be absorbed and at least a chance to sell with a profit watch EZJ rise and regain confidence in the next six months..
I got in at four pounds a few years back now went up to eighteen pounds sold and bought back at twelve pound since then have held on to them had seven or eight years of dividends from approx four thousand a year not worried about drop in share price at least it not now at a low of 4.57p like all my other shares I do miss the dividends just like banks saving interest . But there are winners like a mortgage interest rate less than one per cent but that's a bit late for me paid eight to fifteen percent for mine.
