The water under the bridge wiped out many, the future is not affected by the old holders but the present ones and the BOD and most importantly by world markets, supply and demand for this basic product. If there is no significant debt and =ve cash flow that leaves world markets and political risk in Moz.

I think the key is ability to pay consistent dividends and distributing a unrepeatable large divs may not produce that whereas the buyback should result in higher and hopefully still consistent dividends

In a higher yielding and inflationary environment having a higher dividend yield helps make the shares relatively attractive

SARL dropping from 21.5% of the company to 17.1% seems a big drop not explained by the buy back and not a vote of confidence, is that right?
Excuse my ignorance but how can you tell which is a buy and which a sell as I thought all trades had both.
I had though the Stock exchange colour coding was red volume for falling price and green for rising, am I wrong?
