Yeah - a better listing would help in some ways (not in others) but I doubt the company is looking at changing listing now. The entire focus will be on securing a partnership (or takeover completely - though I suspect the former is their preference).
An upgraded listing would be something they'd probably consider if things went really well, and the company hadn't been taken over, and was considering moving to the next level. I doubt it's a serious consideration right now personally.

Yeah the Motley Fool are pretty rubbish.
Although to be fair the article isn't saying much other than you could say in one line "take some profit after a massive rise and hold some in case of further gains". Nothing really wrong/controversial with that.

All this stuff about MM's and paid derampers is a bit silly imo. What you regularly get, on this stock, or any popular AIM stock, is individual traders who try to scaremonger, especially at the highs or the lows, because they want swings to ride up and down. They'll just be low life plebs trying to influence the market rather than serious players almost certainly imo. It just happens a lot more on AIM because smaller volumes can move the price than the large-caps.

I think some people miss this when considering how things might be progressed, and whilst safety is the paramount concern for any drug, I don't think that's really the concern for SNG001, being a naturally occurring substance, already injected widely for MS, and with a significant body of safety data already generated by SNG (and AZN).
What'll be more in question is whether the efficacy will hold up in a wider pool of patients and how hardball the majors will play for a deal to progress things now.
As it stands - it's looking very good - only question is probably what kind of deal they can strike on the basis of these encouraging but smallish scale trial results.

Remember John117 - these aren't the first trials SNG have done with inhaled interferon. It might not have been progressed further but you've got the Astra-Zeneca+Synairgen Inexas trial previously if you're just interested in safety, and a further trial by Synairgen back in 2012/13, and a further phase I before that. They've actually dosed quite a lot of people over the years because they've been doing this a long time ;)

Does sound quite promising Joey to be fair. With the massive caveat that of course it might not be.

I can't really tell you anything Sparkle1, so advance warning this is a bit of a pointless message, but I did phone RM a few weeks back, because someone asked a question about the supply/manufacture agreements and I wasn't sure myself.
I didn't discuss this with him, but I believe SNG own the rights to their formulation, having been inlicenced, based on internet research.
I was trying to push for specifics on their manufacturing and how protected they were in the event of needing to scale up massively. He couldn't/wouldn't disclose any details but I was pushing him on the points of being held to ransom by suppliers in the event this went big. So, no answer for you, but I can tell you with certainty I reinforced that concern to him, and as I've said before on here, I don't believe he was being evasive by not giving detail, and seemed comfortable it was well in hand.
Having said that - I believe it's actually largely immaterial if they do a deal with big pharma - and enough will get made by hook or by crook.

CW25 - a random ask/question but you don't happen to have any good Quins connections do you? The old man's a die-hard there for what must be nearly half a decade I'd guess (and ironically probably insanely connected himself). But been trying to sort him a surprise present for a long time (get a shirt signed by the team or something) but not had much luck trying to go via a couple of players on Twitter. Chancing my luck on the off chance you happen to know someone who'd be able to sort that sort of thing easily. Bottle of red in it for you ;)

Bargain if it's any good...

I have the feeling there must be wine afficionados on here...so now market's closed I'm still trying to find a reliable red (wine) to buy regularly:
- Malbec is the most to my taste when I've had a good one (but 4/5 that I've bought, or more, haven't been great)
- Has to be full bodied and lots of tannins
- Don't like it when it's too sour
- Basically as heavy/full bodied as possible (not "sour" - don't know the best terminology)

Basically a very smooth but heavy red.

Thus far I'm working my way through the first crate of virgin wines highest rated full bodied reds, of 10-20 quid, and yet to find one I think is great. One reserva Shiraz has been quite good (drinking now) but a touch on the light bodied side for me (but about right in terms of smoothness).

Anyone got any expert tips for a superb wine that fits this billing?

I like the testing stocks and lots of them look promising.
That's also the reason I don't put any money into them now because they're at the price where it's a bit like VHS/Betamax/+more.
No idea which will be the big winner and whichever one you punt on might head very low.
You could argue that the benefits from the winner would outweigh this but I'm not confident enough of that personally.

If it's a non-guaranteed stop then you're not protected if there was a sudden drop past your stop level.

bagitup - IG limiting it to £75/point on guaranteed stops. So you might have non-guaranteed stops on unless you phoned them and they agreed to put on stuff above their online limits.

Ghia - yes, you have to be careful with spreads, as you're using leverage, but assuming you run the numbers properly they're fine. In the event of a corporate action the spread provider should just give you the equivalent in price. Ie dividends are applied at the relevant proportion. So your position would be closed at the takeover price (assuming it concluded). I once had a short on a company that suspended before going bust (Globo) and it can take a while to be settled - but was paid out at zero.
