Scottiemalottie: It's probably the biggest riser on the entire stock exchange being roughly 1000% up since the lows.....you'd struggle to find very many shares in history that have risen that much in such a short space of time. So strange to complain about it not rising!
You've now got a reasonable chunk of success priced in ahead of results. Any drug stock like this is going to reach a point where the buying/selling starts to find its level based on the new perceived risk/reward.
You pays your money you takes your chances as they say. If the drug trials go well and this gets used widely then there's surely a lot more upside to come. If not then the opposite. That's the risk with these things and as long as you (or anyone else) are comfortable with this then it's just a case of waiting to hopefully get the right result.
When I was buying this at 5.5p (and trying to suggest to everyone that it was a bargain - and nobody listened) I was targetting 50-200p on success. The added potential use to help with this virus should have a good chance of pushing the target to the higher end of this with success but tricking to pick the top will be even more difficult. With success is the key. I reckon the chances are pretty good but it's critical to remember it's not guaranteed.

TrekMadone - that's complete nonsense. The potential here without COVID-19 was massive and still is even if COVID-19 vanished overnight. It's just nobody on AIM does their homework and the SP had been battered (like most Woodford related shares).
The SP is just about the worst measure of potential because most AIM investors idea of investing is just reading tea leaves trying to guess at share price rises (and calling it technical analysis to make it sound like it's a science when it's not) or buying what other people tell them to.
Think about it, there could be no coronavirus, and they'd still be about to complete a trial which would show that they have a drug that helps people with respiratory issues recover when they've got a virus. How many viruses are there? How many people go into doctors and get prescribed antibiotics for things that are really due to a virus? You don't think GPs/doctors/NHS/World would want something that helps people recover from viruses instead of prescribing them antibiotics wrongly?

It's simply basing it on what it thinks is the previous close and today's close. It thinks it closed at 24p and thinks it finished at 27.7p (so it thinks it finished 15.4% up). The whole delayed reporting of trades messes it up basically.

In this instance, judging by the stock exchange website, there were 13 trades reported after 16:30, many from earlier in the day.

Luckily you deceptive so and so's can't rewrite history :p (all there and easy for anyone to check who's a rodent, in the post history of each person, and history of this board)

It's not hard to spot all the deceptive twonks, because virtually the only person posting on this board a few months ago (and for most of the preceding year) was me, with the occasional post from less than a handful of others.

Google just reports what it thinks is the last trade price.
That trade really won't have been done at that time.
You try getting a quote to buy or sell over £300,000 in one go on a tiny AIM share like this ;)
It'll have been worked over a long period.
Whether it's a buy or a sell is irrelevant - either way it shows the demand for the share - you would never be able to sell that much at that price otherwise.

Alwaysone - never ever try to read into the short term price movements on AIM. Things can be moved down because there's high demand for the shares and they want people to sell. Things can be moved up for the exact opposite reason. Or they can simply reflect normal supply and demand and act in the opposite manner to either of those ways. The shorter the period you're relying on the more unreliable.

I don't know why you keep saying LOXL2 dwarfs SNG001....that's bonkers. Confirmation that inhaled interferon-beta is useful will be massive for this. The stake in LOXL2 farmed out stuff is just a bonus and not even remotely as valuable to SNG.
(Don't know why you seem to be calling it LX002 and SNG002 now. Are you sure you haven't been on the vin rouge? :p)

Yeah it's ONLY a drug that can help the body's defences in patients who're struggling with respiratory viruses.

The world probably doesn't want to help COVID patients.
The world probably doesn't want to help every patient with respiratory issues coming into their GPs/hospitals as a result of any other virus.
The world probably wants to keep on wrongly prescribing antibiotics to patients with virus-induced lung problems.

It must be that.......because some experts on here know better than the medical experts of the world who think its promising ;)
