Exactly, jdt. The business model is ptecisely what you have just said and only shows up every six months (aside of the regulatory announcement of the up front and next payment milestones).

Given that we have an increasing number of collaborations, each of which will want their products to market asap, the income streams can begin at any time.

I appreciate the current covid focus here (not just the UK please) but don't think the current sp reflects the business model + covid. Just my opinion and awaiting being shot down !

Given the worldwide potential of successful tests, Avacta must believe that the potential of the best tests outweighs the shorter term. I hope it does as well.
Judging by the number of variants that are cropping up and whether these are covered by the vaccines or not, I like the therapy collaboration with Daewoong.

The Avacta business model is pretty neat.

1. License out the IP for an upfront payment.
2. Agree next requirement and further payment.
3. Develop requirement and receive payment.
4. Plus future royalties on sales of requested requirements.
5. In the meantime, use the IP to develop own products for manufacture.

Agree that the last two RNSs should have elevated the sp but this is very much covid related currently but the business model isn't course, so the longer term likely has more mileage than the shorter term.

Should start seeing the false 13p "drop" reducing .

A company that aims to build and grow through partnerships and licensing agreements announces another licensing agreement with upfront and stage payments plus royalties and the sp stays at yesterday's close.

Not surprising in a world where politicians are proving they are clueless I suppose. No doubt later we will hear about how the army will logistically manage the vaccine roll out that the government has changed the dosage timescales for and be expected to cheer.

As I sit here looking forward to a trip to the supermarket later, I do believe that I am slowly going mad. Either that or a lot of other people are and I am developing some sort of variant thinking.

Is that not two new collaborations and income streams recently to add to the eight previous ones?

Another cancer company wants to rent the IP that we own. They will also pay more in the future plus royalties.

Both companies link with Tufts.

The sp has gone up from yesterday's close.

Any doubters are awaiting covid related news only.

Judging by the fact that I am only allowed out for shopping and the daily numbers are increasing, the covid side is clearly not going away and some people that would normally be at school have joined the chat board.

Buy and hold is the logical conclusion.
